Abstract

An electronic inspection report system includes a dynamic integrity checker. Upon reception of inspection data from mobile devices, the date from similar and related fields is cross-correlated to identify any inconsistencies or discrepancies. This data is also compared with third party data that may be related to the item or similar item.

Claims

1. A dynamic data integrity verification system, the system comprising:

a mobile device interface that receives one or more data items, with each data item related to one or more particular attributes of an item being evaluation, the data items being received from one or mobile devices;

a data consistency checker that heuristically identifies inconsistencies in the received data items by;

comparing the values of data items for related attributes received from a single mobile device;

comparing the values of data items for similar attributes received from multiple mobile devices; and

comparing third party data related to the item being evaluated;

a data convertor that is configured to convert disparate data from the mobile devices and third parties into a standard and compatible format to facilitate comparison;

an analyzer configured to perform statistical analysis of the data items and third party data to provide further information to the data consistency checker.
