Abstract

The invention provides a clamping system (1) for a rotary tool (70), for example a milling cutter or drill. The clamping system (1) includes a base element (10), a collet (30) and a clamping nut (50), said clamping nut (50) friction-locking the rotary tool (70) within the base element (10) with the collet (30). In order to avoid a relative rotation of the base element (10) and the collet (30), the clamping system (1) has a form locking anti-twist protection which blocks a rotation of the collet (30) relative to the base element (10).

Claims

1. A clamping system (1) for a rotating tool (70), comprising:

a. a base element (10), in particular a chuck for turning, milling or other rotating machines and similar with a receiving bore hole (12);

b. a collet (30) with a tool bore hole (32) for the rotating tool (70), wherein the collet (30) is removably arranged in the receiving bore hole (12) of the base element (10) and is preloadable with friction locking relative to the base element (10) for providing rotational fixation;

c. a first rotation safety which blocks a rotation of the collet (30) relative to the base element (10); and

d. a second rotation safety which blocks a rotation of the rotating tool (70) relative to the collet (30) in that a radial outer contour of the rotating tool (70), preferably of a tool shaft (74) of the rotating tool (70), is adaptable to a substantial polyhedral radial inner contour of the tool receiving bore hole (32) of the collet (30) so that a form locking connection between the collet (30) and the rotating tool (70) is provided.

2. The clamping system (1) according to claim 1, further comprising:

a clamping nut (50) for clamping the collet (30) is provided at the base element (10) wherein the clamping nut is attachable at the base element (10) in a portion of the receiving bore hole (12) and wherein the first rotation safety is provided through a form locking connection between the base element (10) and the collet (30) or between the collet (30) and the clamping nut (50).

The clamping system (1) according to claim 2, wherein the first rotation safety is provided by at least one catch element (40) provided at the collet (30) or at the clamping nut (50) or at the base element (10), wherein the catch element engages a recess (20) in the clamping nut (50) or in the base element (10) or in the collet (30) that is shaped complementary to the catch element (40) in order to form a form locking connection and wherein the catch element (40) is advantageously configured as a plug in component.

4. The clamping system (1) according to claim 3, further comprising:

three catch elements (40) arranged symmetrically about a longitudinal axis R of the receiving bore hole (12) and are advantageously configured as engagement lugs.

The clamping system (1) according to claim 4, wherein the collet (30) includes the catch elements (40) at a face oriented towards the base element (10) that extend parallel to the longitudinal axis R, wherein the catch elements engage correspondingly shaped recesses (20) in the base element (10).

6. The clamping system (1) according to one of the claim 2, wherein the clamping nut (50) has a safety distance (58) between a thread start (54) and a contact end (56) of the clamping nut (50).

7. The clamping system (1) according to claim 1, wherein the collet (30) is provided as a press collet without a clamping nut and wherein the first rotation safety is implemented by a form locking connection between the base element (10) and the press collet (30).

The clamping system (1) according to claim 7, wherein the first rotation safety is formed by at least one catch element (40) provided at the press collet (30) or at the base element (10), wherein the catch element engages a recess (20) in the base element (10) or in the collet or press collet (30) which recess is formed complementary to the catch element (40) in order to provide a form locking connection and wherein the catch element is preferably configured as a plug in component.

9. The clamping system (1) according to claim 8, further comprising:

three catch elements (40, 80) arranged symmetrically from one another about a longitudinal axis R of the receiving bore hole (12) and are preferably configured as engagement lugs.

The clamping system (1) according to claim 9, wherein the press collet (30) includes axial catch elements (40) at a face oriented towards the base element (10) and extending parallel to the longitudinal axis R which engage recesses (20) in the base element (10) that are configured correspondingly.

The clamping system (1) according to claim 1 wherein the first rotation safety is formed by at least one substantially polyhedral outer shape of the collet (30) and an accordingly adapted to radially inner at least substantially polyhedral shape of the receiving bore hole (12) of the base element (10), wherein the substantially polyhedral outer shape of the collet (30) and the substantially polyhedral inner shape of the receiving bore hole (12) are configured respectively complementary to each other with respect to their contact surfaces.

The clamping system (1) according to claim 1, wherein the clamping system (1) includes the rotating tool (70) with a tool shaft (74) which is attachable in the collet (30) by friction locking clamping of the tool shaft (74) and supported by a axial pull out safety in the collet (30) against axial creeping in a direction of the longitudinal axis R.

The clamping system (1) according to claim 12, wherein the axial pull out safety is formed by a plurality of catch members (80) arranged distributed over the circumference of the collet (30), the catch members (80) engage locking grooves (72) arranged on the tool shaft (74) distributed over the circumference of the tool shaft (74), wherein the catch members (80) are preferably formed by sliders, distributed over the circumference of the collet (30).

14. The clamping system (1) according to claim 13, wherein the catch members (80) are formed and arranged in accordingly formed recesses (46) in the collet (30) so that the catch members (80) are only arrangeable in the recesses (46) advantageously according to a defined orientation.

15. The clamping system (1) according to claims 1, wherein the receiving bore hole (12) of the base element (10) has a flat cone angle, advantageously of less than 3°

.

18. The clamping system of claim 1 wherein the rotating tool (70) for use in a clamping system (1) further comprises a tool shaft (74) with locking grooves (72) with a substantially polyhedral shape.

19. An installation method for a clamping system (1) for a rotating tool (70) comprising the following steps:

a. providing a base element (10) with a receiving bore hole (12)

b. inserting the collet (30) in the receiving bore hole (12) of the base element (10) so that a form locking connection between the base element (10) and the collet (30) is provided which blocks a rotation of the collet (30) relative to the base element (10).

c. inserting the rotating tool (70) into the collet (30) advantageously so that a form locking connection between the collet (30) and the rotating tool (70) is provided through a substantially polyhedral radial inner contour of the tool receiving bore hole (32) of the collet (30) and the radial outer contour of the rotating tool (70) which form a locking connection which blocks a rotation of the rotating tool (70) relative to the collet (30); and

d. clamping the rotating tool (70) in the collet (30) through a shrinking of the collet (30).

20. A clamping system (3) for a rotating tool (70), comprising:

a. a base element (110), in particular a chuck for turning, milling or other rotating machines and similar with a receiving bore hole (112);

b. a tool shaft (74) of the rotating tool (70) is attachable in the receiving borehole (112) of the base element (110) without a collet (30); and

c. a first rotation safety which blocks a rotation of the rotating tool (70) relative to the base element (110) in that a radial outer contour of the rotating tool (70) is adaptable to a substantial polyhedral radial inner contour of the receiving bore hole (112) of the base element (110) for the rotating tool (70), so that a form locking connection is provided between the base element (110) and the rotating tool (70).

21. The clamping system (3) according to claim 20, wherein a portion of the tool shaft (74) of the rotating tool (70) has a complementary substantially polyhedral shape.

The clamping system (3) according to claim 20, wherein the tool shaft (74) by which the rotating tool is attachable through a form locking clamp in the base element (110) and supported in the receiving borehole (112) for the rotating tool (70) against axial creeping in a direction of a longitudinal axis R of the rotating tool (70) through an axial pull out safety.

23. The clamping system (3) according to one of the claims 20 wherein the receiving bore hole (112) of the base element (110) has a flat cone angle, advantageously less than 3°

.

24. The clamping system (1;

3) of claim 20 further comprising a reduction sleeve (160) with a radially outer sleeve shape (162) and an radially inner sleeve shape (166) which is arrangeable within the receiving bore hole (112) of the base element (110) for receiving a tool shaft (74) of the rotating tool (70), wherein the radially outer sleeve shape (162) is at least partially configured adapted to the shape of the receiving bore hole (112) and at least partially configured adapted to the shape of the tool shaft (74).

28. An installation method for a clamping system (3) for rotating tool (70) of claim 23 with a base element (110) and without a collet comprising the following steps:

a. providing a base element (110) with a substantially polyhedral receiving bore hole (112) for a rotating tool (70);

b. inserting the rotating tool (70) that is shape adapted to the receiving bore hole (112) into the receiving bore hole (112) of the base element (110) so that a form locking connection between the base element (110) and the rotating tool (70) is provided which blocks a rotation of the rotating tool (70) relative to the base element (110); and

c. fixating the rotating tool (70) in the base element (110).
