Abstract

Methods, systems, and products index digital scenes in digital media. A uniform resource locator is assigned to each different digital scene within the digital media. The uniform resource locator uniquely identifies a resource from which each different digital scene may be retrieved. Individual scenes may thus be retrieved, thus conserving bandwidth and memory.

Claims

1. A method, comprising:

retrieving, by a server, a digital media;

inserting, by the server, a blank frame into the digital media;

retrieving, by the server, a scene index that lists product placements in the digital media;

inserting, by the server, the scene index into the blank frame; and

adding, by the server, the scene index to a menu of contents associated with the digital media.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising associating a uniform resource locator to the scene index.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising associating the digital media to the scene index in a database of content.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising associating different uniform resource locators to different scenes in the digital media.

5. The method of claim 1, further comprising listing the different scenes in the scene index.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising receiving a request for scene index.

7. The method of claim 6, further comprising sending the scene index to a requesting device.

8. A system, comprising:

a processor; and

a memory storing instructions that when executed cause the processor to perform operations, the operations comprising;

retrieving a digital media;

inserting a blank frame into the digital media;

retrieving a scene index that lists product placements in the digital media;

inserting the scene index into the blank frame; and

adding the scene index to a menu of contents associated with the digital media.

9. The system of claim 8, wherein the operations further comprise associating a uniform resource locator to the scene index.

10. The system of claim 8, wherein the operations further comprise associating the digital media to the scene index in a database of content.

11. The system of claim 8, wherein the operations further comprise associating different uniform resource locators to different scenes in the digital media.

12. The system of claim 8, wherein the operations further comprise listing the different scenes in the scene index.

13. The system of claim 8, wherein the operations further comprise receiving a request for scene index.

14. The system of claim 13, wherein the operations further comprise sending the scene index to a requesting device.

15. A memory storing instructions that when executed cause a processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:

retrieving a digital media;

inserting a blank frame into the digital media;

retrieving a scene index that lists product placements in the digital media;

inserting the scene index into the blank frame; and

adding the scene index to a menu of contents associated with the digital media.

16. The memory of claim 15, wherein the operations further comprise associating a uniform resource locator to the scene index.

17. The memory of claim 15, wherein the operations further comprise associating the digital media to the scene index in a database of content.

18. The memory of claim 15, wherein the operations further comprise associating different uniform resource locators to different scenes in the digital media.

19. The memory of claim 15, wherein the operations further comprise listing the different scenes in the scene index.

20. The memory of claim 15, wherein the operations further comprise:

receiving a request for scene index; and

sending the scene index to a requesting device.
