Abstract

A method of a user equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communication system and the user equipment are discussed. The method includes receiving a timing advance command for indicating a change of uplink timing relative to a current uplink timing in a subframe; and when uplink transmissions in a subframe n and a subframe n+1 are overlapped due to the timing advance command, transmitting the subframe n completely.

Claims

1. A method of a user equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

receiving a timing advance command for indicating a change of uplink timing relative to a current uplink timing in a subframe; and

when uplink transmissions in a subframe n and a subframe n+1 are overlapped due to the timing advance command, transmitting the subframe n completely.

2. The method according to claim 1, the method further comprising:

transmitting the subframe n+1 partially excluding an overlapped part of the subframe n+1 when the uplink transmissions in the subframe and the subframe n+1 are overlapped due to the timing advance command.

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the subframe n is a prior subframe to the subframe n+1 to which the timing advance command is applied in a time domain.

5. The method according to claim 2, wherein the overlapped part of the subframe n+1 is shorter than a cyclic prefix of the subframe n+1.

6. The method according to claim 2, wherein the overlapped part of the subframe n+1 includes a cyclic prefix of the subframe n+1.

7. The method according to claim 1, wherein each subframe has a plurality of symbols and the plurality of symbols include Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols.

8. The method according to claim 1, wherein each subframe has a plurality of symbols and the plurality of symbols include Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbols.

3. The method according to claim, the method further comprising:

determining whether when the uplink transmissions in the subframe n and the subframe n+1 are overlapped due to the timing advance command or not.

9. A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:

an RV (Radio Frequency) module; and

a processor configured to control the RF module,

wherein the processor is configured to receive a timing advance command for indicating a change of uplink timing relative to a current uplink timing in a subframe;

and to transmit the subframe n completely when uplink transmissions in a subframe n and a subframe n+1 are overlapped due to the timing advance command.

10. The UE according to claim 9, wherein the processor is further configured to transmit the subframe n+1 partially excluding an overlapped part of the subframe n+1, when the uplink transmissions in the subframe n and the subframe n+1 are overlapped due to the timing advance command.

11. The UE according to claim 9, the processor is configured to determine whether when the uplink transmissions in the subframe n and the subframe n+1 are overlapped due to the timing advance command or not.

12. The UE according to claim 9, wherein the subframe n is a prior subframe to the subframe n+1 to which the timing advance command is applied in a time domain.

13. The UE according to claim 10, wherein the overlapped part of the subframe n+1 is shorter than a cyclic prefix of the subframe n+1.

14. The. UE according to claim 10, wherein the overlapped part of the subframe n+1 includes a cyclic prefix of the subframe n+1.

15. The UE according to claim 9, wherein each subframe has a plurality of symbols and the plurality of symbols include Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols.

16. The UE according to claim 9, wherein each subframe has a plurality of symbols and the plurality of symbols include Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbols.
