Abstract

Implementations are directed to providing a user of a mobile device access to patient information and patient physiological data. Actions can include receiving user input, the user input indicating a user command to display a location screen, in response to the user input, processing user-specific data and facility-specific data to determine one or more graphical representations to be displayed, and displaying the location screen on the mobile device, the location screen including one or more display regions and the one or more graphical representations, each graphical representation depicting at least a portion of a facility.

Claims

1. A computer-implemented method for providing a user of a mobile device access to patient information and patient physiological data, the method being executed using one or more processors and comprising:

receiving, by the one or more processors, user input, the user input indicating a user command to display a location screen;

in response to the user input, processing, by the one or more processors, user-specific data and facility-specific data to determine one or more graphical representations to be displayed; and

displaying the location screen on the mobile device, the location screen comprising one or more display regions and the one or more graphical representations, each graphical representation depicting at least a portion of a facility.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein a graphical representation depicts one or more patient rooms.

3. The method of claim 2, further comprising highlighting patient rooms associated with patients of the user.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising receiving user input to a graphical representation, the user input indicating a selection of a patient, and in response, displaying a patient window that is specific to the patient.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the patient window displays patient data and/or patient information.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein each graphical representation provides one or more patient icons, each patient icon specific to a patient of the user.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein each patient icon displays patient data and/or patient information.

8. The method of claim 1, further comprising displaying a user locator within a graphical representation, the user locator depicting an approximate location of the user within the facility.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein a graphical representation includes a perspective schematic view of the portion of the facility.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein a graphical representation includes a plan view of the portion of the facility.

11. A computer-readable storage device coupled to one or more processors and having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations for providing a user of a mobile device access to patient information and patient physiological data, the operations comprising:

receiving user input, the user input indicating a user command to display a location screen;

in response to the user input, processing user-specific data and facility-specific data to determine one or more graphical representations to be displayed; and

displaying the location screen on the mobile device, the location screen comprising one or more display regions and the one or more graphical representations, each graphical representation depicting at least a portion of a facility.

12. A system, comprising:

one or more processors; and

a computer-readable storage medium in communication with the one or more processors and having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations for providing a user of a mobile device access to patient information and patient physiological data, the operations comprising;

receiving user input, the user input indicating a user command to display a location screen;

in response to the user input, processing user-specific data and facility-specific data to determine one or more graphical representations to be displayed; and

displaying the location screen on the mobile device, the location screen comprising one or more display regions and the one or more graphical representations, each graphical representation depicting at least a portion of a facility.
