Abstract

An application synchronization method for use in a terminal is provided. The application synchronization method includes acquiring an alarm registration request of a first repetitive synchronization operation, acquiring a next execution time of a second repetitive synchronization operation associated with a same application as an application of the first repetitive synchronization operation, adjusting, if a difference between an alarm time of the alarm registration request of the first repetitive synchronization operation and the next execution time of the second repetitive synchronization operation is less than or equal to a threshold value, the alarm time of the alarm registration request of the first repetitive synchronization operation according to the next execution time of the second repetitive synchronization operation, and registering the adjusted alarm time.

Claims

1. An application synchronization method of a terminal, the method comprising:

acquiring an alarm registration request of a first synchronization operation;

acquiring a next execution time of a second synchronization operation associated with a same application as an application of the first synchronization operation;

adjusting, if a difference between an alarm time of the alarm registration request of the first synchronization operation and the next execution time of the second synchronization operation is less than or equal to a threshold value, the alarm time of the alarm registration request of the first synchronization operation according to the next execution time of the second synchronization operation; and

registering the adjusted alarm time.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising, before the acquiring of the next execution time of the second synchronization operation:

acquiring a next execution occasion of the second synchronization operation and an interval estimation value; and

storing the next execution time using the next execution occasion of the second synchronization operation and the interval estimation value.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the acquiring of the next execution occasion of the second synchronization operation and the interval estimation value comprising:

acquiring an alarm notification for the second synchronization operation;

acquiring a last execution occasion before the alarm notification of the second synchronization operation; and

acquiring a value obtained by subtracting the last execution occasion before the alarm notification of the second synchronization operation from a time when the alarm notification occurs as the interval estimation value.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the acquiring of the alarm notification comprises acquiring the alarm notification of the second synchronization operation from feedback of a notification on the alarm for the second synchronization operation.

The method of claim 4, wherein the acquiring of the next execution occasion of the second synchronization operation and the interval execution value comprises acquiring the next execution occasion of the second synchronization operation by adding the interval estimation value to an end time of the second synchronization operation according to the alarm notification.

6. The method of claim 2, wherein the acquiring of the next execution occasion of the second synchronization operation and the interval estimation value comprises:

acquiring an alarm notification occurrence time from the alarm registration request of the second synchronization operation;

acquiring a last execution time of the second synchronization operation; and

acquiring a value obtained by subtracting the last execution time of the second synchronization operation from the alarm notification occurrence time as the interval estimation value of the second operation.

The method of claim 1, wherein the acquiring of the next execution time of the second synchronization operation associated with the same application as the first synchronization operation comprises acquiring synchronization state information from the alarm notification for the second synchronization operation.

The method of claim 1, wherein the adjusting of the alarm time of the alarm registration request according to the next execution time of the second synchronization operation comprises adjusting the alarm time of the alarm registration request such that the synchronization operations of the first and second synchronization operations are performed simultaneously or consecutively with a time difference value.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the first synchronization operation and the second synchronization operation are the synchronization operations of same account of the application.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein the first synchronization operation and the second synchronization operation are synchronization operations of different accounts of the application.

11. A terminal comprising:

a control unit configured to acquire an alarm registration request of a first synchronization operation and a next execution time of a second synchronization operation associated with a same application as an application of the first synchronization operation, to adjust, if a difference between an alarm time of the alarm registration request of the first synchronization operation and the next execution time of the second synchronization operation is less than or equal to a threshold value, the alarm time of the alarm registration request of the first synchronization operation according to the next execution time of the second synchronization operation, and to register the adjusted alarm time; and

a communication unit configured to transmit and receive data necessary for synchronization under the control of the control unit.

The terminal of claim 11, wherein the control unit acquires a next execution occasion of the second synchronization operation and an interval estimation value and stores the next execution time using the next execution occasion of the second synchronization operation and the interval estimation value.

The terminal of claim 12, wherein the control unit acquires an alarm notification for the second synchronization operation, a last execution occasion before the alarm notification of the second synchronization operation, and a value obtained by subtracting the last execution occasion before the alarm notification of the second synchronization operation from a time when the alarm notification occurs as the interval estimation value.

14. The terminal of claim 13, wherein the control unit acquires the alarm notification of the second synchronization operation from feedback of a notification on the alarm for the second synchronization.

15. The terminal of claim 14, wherein the control unit acquires the next execution occasion of the second synchronization operation by adding the interval estimation value to an end time of the second synchronization operation according to the alarm notification.

The terminal of claim 12, wherein the control unit acquires an alarm notification occurrence time from the alarm registration request of the second synchronization operation, acquires a last execution time of the second synchronization operation, and acquires a value obtained by subtracting the last execution time of the second synchronization operation from the alarm notification occurrence time as the interval estimation value of the second operation.

17. The terminal of claim 11, wherein the controller acquires synchronization state information from the alarm notification for the second synchronization operation.

18. The terminal of claim 11, wherein the control unit adjusts the alarm time of the alarm registration request such that the synchronization operations of the first and second synchronization operations are performed simultaneously or consecutively with a time difference value.

19. The terminal of claim 11, wherein the first synchronization operation and the second synchronization operation are the synchronization operations of same account of the application.

20. The terminal of claim 11, wherein the first synchronization operation and the second synchronization operation are synchronization operations of different accounts of the application.
