1. A system for converting geo-spatial information into insurance determinations based on vehicle trip data, the system comprising:

  • one or more data storage devices for storing data indicative of telematics data received from a sensor within a vehicle, the telematics data being associated with a plurality of trips and comprising at least one of geo-position information of the vehicle and vehicle kinematics data;

    one or more computer processors in communication with the one or more data storage devices;

    a communications device in communication with the one or more computer processors and the one or more data storage devices; and

    a memory, coupled to the one or more computer processors, storing program instructions which, when executed by the one or more computer processors, cause the one or more computer processors to;

    retrieve information related to an automobile insurance policy;

    retrieve at least a portion of the stored data indicative of the telematics data from the computer memory;

    compute a trips score based on a comparison of paths taken on the plurality of trips, determined from the retrieved telematics data;
