Abstract

A method for providing a contents curation service in an electronic device includes selecting a part or entirety of the contents, detecting that the selected part or entirety of the contents moves to an area of a screen, and storing the selected part or entirety of the contents to a folder, if the selected part or entirety of the contents moves to the area of the screen. An electronic includes a processor configured to select a part or entirety of the content, a touch screen configured to detect that the selected part or entirety of the contents moves to an area of a screen, and a memory configured to store the selected part or entirety of the content to a folder, if it is detected that the selected part or entirety of the content moves to the area of the screen.

Claims

1. A method for providing a contents curation service in an electronic device, the method comprising:

selecting a part or entirety of at least one content;

detecting that the selected part or entirety of the at least one content moves to an area of a screen; and

storing the selected part or entirety of the at least one content to a folder, when it is detected that the selected part or entirety of the at least one content moves to the area of the screen.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the area is generated and displayed in a sliding manner, when the part or entirety of the at least one content is selected or the part or entirety of the at least one content moves after selection.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

performing a preview of the contents in the folder in a thumbnail or tile form when the folder is open.

4. The method of claim 3, further comprising:

downloading a file containing the selected contents from a server when one of the contents in the folder is selected; and

displaying the downloaded file via an applicable viewer.

5. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

loading a file containing the selected content from an internal auxiliary memory to a main memory when one of the contents in the contents is selected; and

displaying the loaded file via an applicable viewer.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the storing of the part or entirety of the selected content in the folder includes storing the part or entirety of the selected contents in a corresponding file format according to an attribute of the selected content.

7. The method of claim 1, further comprising uploading the part or entirety of the selected content.

8. A method providing a contents curation service in an electronic device, the method comprising:

setting a shareability of a folder by designating at least one sharing user;

transmitting a share request message for the folder to the at least one sharing user;

receiving an accept message for the share request message from the at least one sharing user; and

synchronizing the folder with a folder of the at least one sharing user,

wherein the folder is located in a home screen or a wallpaper, and is a storage space for storing contents scrapped by a user.

9. The method of claim 8, further comprising uploading the contents in the folder to a server.

10. The method of claim 8, wherein the at least one sharing user is designated by one of an e-mail, phone number, i-pin, and identifier of the sharing user.

11. The method of claim 8, wherein setting the shareability of the folder includes sharing all contents in the folder with the at least one sharing user.

12. The method of claim 8, wherein setting of the shareability of the folder includes sharing each of the contents in the folder with some of the at least one sharing user or to all sharing users.

13. A method for providing a contents curation service in an electronic device, the method comprising:

receiving from a second electronic device a share request message for a folder of the second electronic device;

transmitting to the second electronic device an accept message for the share request message; and

synchronizing the folder with a folder of the at least one sharing user, wherein the folder is located in a home screen or a wallpaper, and is configured to store contents scrapped by a user

14. The method of claim 13, further comprising:

selecting a part or entirety of the contents;

detecting that the selected part or entirety of the contents moves to an area of a screen; and

copying a file containing the selected part or entirety of the contents to a folder of the second electronic device, if it is detected that the selected part or entirety of the contents moves to the area of the screen.

15. The method of claim 13, wherein the copying of the file corresponding to the selected part or entirety of the contents to a folder of the second electronic device includes uploading the file containing the selected part or entirety of the contents to a server.

16. The method of claim 13, further comprising performing a preview of the contents in the folder in a thumbnail or tile form when the folder of the second electronic device is open.

17. The method of claim 16, further comprising:

downloading a file containing the selected contents from a server when one of the contents in the folder of the second electronic device is selected; and

displaying the downloaded file via a corresponding viewer.

18. An electronic device providing a contents curation service, the device comprising:

a processor configured to select a part or entirety of the content;

a touch screen configured to detect that the selected part or entirety of the contents moves to an area of a screen; and

a memory configured to store the selected part or entirety of the content to a folder, if it is detected that the selected part or entirety of the content moves to the area of the screen.

19. The device of claim 18, wherein the area is generated and displayed in a sliding manner, when the part or entirety of the content is selected or the part or entirety of the contents moves after selection.

20. The device of claim 18, wherein the processor is configured to perform a preview of the contents in the folder in a thumbnail or tile form when the folder is open.

21. The deice of claim 20, wherein the processor is configured to download a file corresponding to the selected content from a server when one of the contents in the folder is selected, and display the downloaded file via a corresponding viewer.

22. The device of claim 18, wherein the processor is configured to load a file containing the selected content from an internal auxiliary memory to a main memory when one of the contents in the contents is selected, and display the loaded file via a corresponding viewer.

23. The device of claim 18, wherein when the part or entirety of the selected contents is stored in the folder, the part or entirety of the selected contents is stored in a corresponding file format according to an attribute of the selected contents.

24. The device of claim 18, wherein the processor is configured to upload the part or entirety of the selected contents.

25. An electronic device providing a contents curation service, the device comprising:

a processor configured to set a shareability of a folder by designating at least one sharing user, for transmit a share request message for the folder to the at least one sharing user, receive an accept message for the share request message from the at least one sharing user, and synchronize the folder with a folder of the at least one sharing user,

wherein the folder is located in a home screen or a wallpaper, and is configured to store contents scrapped by a user.

26. The device of claim 25, wherein the processor is configured to upload the contents in the folder to a server.

27. The device of claim 25, wherein the at least one sharing user is designated by one of an e-mail, phone number, i-pin, and identifier of the sharing user.

28. The device of claim 25, wherein when the sharing of the folder is set, all contents in the folder are shared to the at least one sharing user.

29. The device of claim 25, wherein when the sharing of the folder is set, each of the contents in the folder is shared to some of the at least one sharing user or to all sharing users.

30. An electronic device providing a contents curation service, the device comprising a processor configured to:

receive from a second electronic device a share grant request message for a folder of the second electronic device;

transmit to the second electronic device an accept message for the share grant message; and

synchronize a folder with a folder of the second electronic device,

wherein the folder is located in a home screen or a wallpaper, and is configured to store contents scrapped by a user.

31. The device of claim 30, wherein the processor is configured to select a part or entirety of the contents, detect that the selected part or entirety of the contents moves to an area of a screen, and copy a file containing the selected part or entirety of the contents to a folder of the second electronic device when the selected part or entirety of the contents moves to the area of the screen.

32. The device of claim 30, wherein the processor is configured to copy a file containing the selected part or entirety of the contents to a folder of the second electronic device, and upload the file corresponding to the selected part or entirety of the contents to a server.

33. The device of claim 30, wherein the processor is configured to perform a preview of the contents in the folder in a thumbnail or tile form when the folder of the second electronic device is open.

34. The device of claim 30, wherein the processor is configured to download a file corresponding to the selected contents from a server when one of the contents in the folder of the second electronic device is selected, and display the downloaded file via a corresponding viewer.
