MOBILE TERMINAL AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
First Claim
1. A mobile terminal comprising:
- a wireless communication unit configured to wirelessly communicate with at least one other terminal;
a touch screen configured to display a first screen including at least one object linked to a preset function, and sense a touch applied to the touch screen and a tapping gesture on the touch screen; and
a controller configured to;
execute the preset function, when the touch is applied on the object on the first screen, andswitch the touch screen from an active state in which illumination is applied to the touch screen to an inactivated state in which illumination is not applied to the touch screen, when the sensed tapping gesture corresponds to a first tap and a second tap consecutively applied to a region on the first screen on which the object is not displayed,wherein the first screen is a home screen and the at least one object includes an icon, andwherein the region on the first screen on which the object is not displayed is an empty space on the home screen that varies based on the location of the at least one object displayed on the first screen.
