Abstract

An avatar-incentive healthcare therapy system has a physiological monitor for generating a physiological parameter indicative of physical health. An academic test for generating a test score is indicative of mental acuity. The avatar has outward characteristics and game play capabilities proportional to the physiological health and the mental acuity so as to incentivize improved physical health and academic performance.

Claims

1. Avatar-incentive healthcare therapy comprising:

a physiological monitor for generating a physiological parameter indicative of physical health;

an academic test for generating a test score indicative of mental acuity; and

an avatar having outward characteristics and game play capabilities proportional to the physiological health and the mental acuity so as to incentivize improved physical health and academic performance.

2. An avatar-incentive healthcare method comprising:

measuring a physiological parameter indicative of a person'"'"'s health;

measuring an academic performance test score indicative of a person'"'"'s mental acuity;

generating an avatar having physical and mental powers related to the person'"'"'s health and mental acuity; and

providing the avatar for use in video gaming.
