Abstract

An input device including a display screen and a touch panel disposed on the display screen and a plurality of elements to be selected in the display screen by the touch panel, the input device includes a memory, a processor coupled to the memory, configured to recognize a contact body shape on the touch panel, put into non-display an element hidden by the contact body shape from among the plurality of elements to be selected in the display screen when the contact body shape is recognized as a specific shape, zoom-display an element to be selected different from the element put into non-display from among the plurality of elements to be selected, using an original region of the element to be selected put into non-display.

Claims

1. An input device including a display screen and a touch panel disposed on the display screen and a plurality of elements to be selected in the display screen by the touch panel, the input device comprising:

a memory;

a processor coupled to the memory, configured to

recognize a contact body shape on the touch panel,

put into non-display an element hidden by the contact body shape from among the plurality of elements to be selected in the display screen when the contact body shape is recognized as a specific shape,

zoom-display an element to be selected different from the element put into non-display from among the plurality of elements to be selected, using an original region of the element to be selected put into non-display.

2. The input device according to claim 1,

wherein the processor is configured to

select a selection candidate element from among the plurality of elements to be selected on the display screen, based on the contact body shape, and zoom-display the selection candidate element.

3. The input device according to claim 1,

wherein the processor is configured to

select, using reference position information read from a shape master preliminarily stored in a storage device, an element to be selected closest to a position indicated by the reference position information from among the plurality of elements to be selected on the display screen, as the selection candidate element, based on the contact body shape in the display screen.

4. The input device according to claim 1,

wherein the processor is configured to

put the element to be selected subjected to the zoom-display into a determination waiting state by arranging the element to be selected subjected to the zoom-display under the contact body shape.

5. The input device according to claim 4,

further comprising:

an acceleration direction sensing unit configured to sense an acceleration direction applied to the input device,

wherein the processor is configured to

move an element to be selected on the display screen in the acceleration direction.

6. A display control method comprising:

controlling display of a plurality of elements to be selected in a display screen of a touch panel;

recognizing a contact body shape in the display screen;

putting, into non-display, the element to be selected hidden by the contact body shape from among the plurality of elements to be selected; and

zoom-displaying an element to be selected different from the element to be selected put into non-display from among the plurality of elements to be selected, using an original region of the element to be selected put into non-display.

7. The display control method according to claim 6, further comprising:

selecting a selection candidate element from among the plurality of elements to be selected on the display screen, based on the contact body shape; and

zoom-displaying the selection candidate element.

8. The display control method according to claim 7, further comprising:

selecting, using reference position information read from a shape master preliminarily stored in a storage device, an element to be selected closest to a position indicated by the reference position information from among the plurality of elements to be selected on the display screen, as the selection candidate element, based on the contact body shape in the display screen.

9. The display control method according to claim 6, further comprising:

putting the zoom-displayed element to be selected into a determination waiting state by arranging the zoom-displayed element to be selected under the contact body shape.

10. The display control method according to claim 9, further comprising:

sensing an acceleration direction applied to the input device; and

moving an element to be selected on the display screen in the acceleration direction.

11. A machine readable medium storing a program that, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to perform operations comprising:

recognizing a contact body shape in a display screen of a touch panel;

putting, into non-display, the element to be selected hidden by the contact body shape from among the plurality of elements to be selected displayed in the display screen; and

zoom-displaying an element to be selected different from the element to be selected put into non-display from among the plurality of elements to be selected, using an original region of the element to be selected put into non-display.

12. The machine readable medium storing a program according to claim 11, the operations further comprising:

selecting a selection candidate element from among the plurality of elements to be selected on the display screen, based on the contact body shape; and

zoom-displaying the selection candidate element.

13. The machine readable medium storing a program according to claim 12, the operations further comprising:

selecting, using reference position information read from a shape master preliminarily stored in a storage device, an element to be selected closest to a position indicated by the reference position information from among the plurality of elements to be selected on the display screen, as the selection candidate element, based on the contact body shape in the display screen.

14. The machine readable medium storing a program according to claim 11, the operations further comprising:

putting the zoom-displayed element to be selected into a determination waiting state by arranging the zoom-displayed element to be selected the under the contact body shape.

15. The machine readable medium storing a program according to claim 14, the operations further comprising:

sensing an acceleration direction applied to the input device; and

moving an element to be selected on the display screen in the acceleration direction.

16. An integrated circuit device comprising:

a memory; and

a processor coupled to the memory, configured to

recognize a contact body shape in a display screen of a touch panel,

put, into non-display, the element to be selected hidden by the contact body shape from among the plurality of elements to be selected, and

zoom-display an element to be selected different from the element to be selected put into non-display from among the plurality of elements to be selected, using an original region of the element to be selected put into non-display.

17. The integrated circuit device according to claim 16,

wherein the processor is configured to

select a selection candidate element from among the plurality of elements to be selected on the display screen, based on the contact body shape, and

a zoom-display unit zoom-displays the selection candidate element.

18. The integrated circuit device according to claim 17,

wherein the processor is configured to

select, using reference position information read from a specified shape preliminarily stored in a storage device, an element to be selected closest to a position indicated by the reference position information from among the plurality of elements to be selected on the display screen, as the selection candidate element, based on the contact body shape in the display screen.

19. The integrated circuit device according to claim 17,

wherein the processor is configured to

put the element to be selected zoom-displayed by the zoom-display unit into a determination waiting state by arranging the zoom-displayed element to be selected under the contact body shape.

20. The integrated circuit device according to claim 19,

wherein the processor is configured to

sense an acceleration direction applied to the input device, and

an arrangement processing unit moves an element to be selected on the display screen in the acceleration direction.
