Abstract
A traffic surveillance and guidance system comprising a traffic server system is disclosed. The traffic server is configured to receive and update and record data of geographical positions of registered road users, and wherein each registered road user is registering a replaceable and modifiable geometrically shaped model of a field of view representing the respective road users observation space and observation ability of possible traffic incidents around geographical positions the respective road users are located on at any time.

22. A traffic surveillance and guidance system comprising a traffic server system configured to provide acquisition of traffic information from a plurality of information providers, and a plurality of registered road users of the traffic server system,
the server is further being configured to provide traffic information, guidance and traffic advices to registered users of the traffic server, the traffic server is configured to receive and update and record data of geographical positions transmitted from mobile terminals associated with registered road users of the server, and wherein a user profile of each registered road user comprises a replaceable and modifiable geometrically shaped model of a video field representing respective observation space and observation ability of a video camera recording traffic conditions and incidents etc. around geographical positions the respective road users are located on at any time, the video camera is carried by the road users, or the video camera is part of vehicles used by the road users when traveling, wherein the traffic server is configured to follow movements of road users based on the received and recorded geographical positions, and to detect when relative movements of road users is providing a situation with partly overlap between at least two modelled video fields of at least a first road user and at least a second road user, the traffic server is further configured to form a union between the at least two road users having partly overlapping video fields, wherein the union comprises at least a video distribution process between road users constituting the union, whenever relative movements of at least a third road user is providing a situation wherein a modelled video field of the at least third road user is partly overlapping the modelled video field of the at least first road user, or the at least second road user in the union, a further union is formed between the at least first road user and the at least second road user and the at least third road user, the further union comprises the video distribution process between all road users in the further union, the traffic server is further configured to monitor unions that are constituted between road users, and whenever relative movements of a specific road user in a specific union is providing a situation wherein the specific road user no longer is having partly overlapping video field with at least one other road user in the specific union, the established video distribution process is terminated for the specific road user, but is operative for the remaining road users in the specific union.
