Abstract

A device may identify information associated with other devices, generate a first value for one or more indicators associated with the information, process, based on providing the information to a rules engine corresponding to a library of rules including the rule and receiving, from the rules engine and based on providing the information to the rules engine, information associated with a second value the information using a rule to generate the second value based on combining the first value with one or more third values, and output information regarding the second value to determine how to process the information.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

a first device to;

identify information associated with a second device and a third device;

generate a first value for one or more indicators associated with the information,

the first value being generated by performing one or more mathematical operations on a plurality of values;

process the information using a rule to generate a second value,

the first device, when processing the information, being to;

provide the information to a rules engine corresponding to a library of rules,

 

the library of rules including the rule; and

receive, from the rules engine and based on providing the information to the rules engine, information associated with the second value, and

the second value being based on combining the first value with one or more third values; and

output information regarding the second value to determine how to process the information.

2. The system of claim 1, where the first device is further to:

select the rule,

the rule being selected based on a profile associated with the information.

3. The system of claim 2, where the profile is based on at least one of:

meta information associated with the information, or

historical information associated with the information.

4. The system of claim 1, where the first device, when outputting the information regarding the second value, is to:

generate an alert, associated with the information, based on the second value; and

output the alert.

5. The system of claim 1, where the first device, when processing the information, is to:

process the information using the rule to generate a plurality of alarms;

sort the plurality of alarms into a plurality of groups based on attributes of the information; and

analyze the plurality of groups to generate the second value.

6. The system of claim 1, where the first device is further to:

analyze the second value with respect to a first threshold and a second threshold;

classify the information as a first type of information when the second value is less than the first threshold; and

classify the information as an second type of information when the second value is greater than the second threshold.

7. The system of claim 1, where the information regarding the second value is outputted in near real-time.

8. A method comprising:

identifying, by a first device, information associated with a second device and a third device;

generating, by the first device, a first value for one or more indicators associated with the information,

the first value being generated by performing one or more mathematical operations on a plurality of values;

processing, by the first device, the information using a rule to generate a second value,

the processing the information including;

providing the information to a rules engine corresponding to a library of rules,

the library of rules including the rule; and

receiving, from the rules engine and based on providing the information to the rules engine, information associated with the second value, and

the second value being based on combining the first value with one or more third values; and

outputting, by the first device, information regarding the second value to determine how to process the information.

9. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

selecting the rule,

the rule being selected based on a profile associated with the information.

10. The method of claim 9, where the profile is based on at least one of:

meta information associated with the information, or

historical information associated with the information.

11. The method of claim 8, where outputting the information regarding the second value includes:

generating an alert, associated with the information, based on the second value; and

outputting the alert.

12. The method of claim 8, where processing the information includes:

processing the information using the rule to generate a plurality of alarms;

sorting the plurality of alarms into a plurality of groups based on attributes of the information; and

analyzing the plurality of groups to generate the second value.

13. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

analyzing the second value with respect to a first threshold and a second threshold;

classifying the information as a first type of information when the second value is less than the first threshold; and

classifying the information as an second type of information when the second value is greater than the second threshold.

14. The method of claim 8, where the information regarding the second value is outputted in near real-time.

15. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, the instructions comprising:

one or more instructions which, when executed by a processor of a device, cause the processor to;

identify information associated with a second device and a third device;

generate a first value for one or more indicators associated with the information,

the first value being generated by performing one or more mathematical operations on a plurality of values;

process the information using a rule to generate a second value,

the one or more instructions to process the information including;

one or more instructions to provide the information to a rules engine corresponding to a library of rules,

 

the library of rules including the rule; and

one or more instructions to receive, from the rules engine and based on providing the information to the rules engine, information associated with the second value, and

the second value being based on combining the first value with one or more third values; and

output information regarding the second value to determine how to process the information.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15, where the instructions further include:

one or more instructions to select the rule,

the rule being selected based on a profile associated with the information.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16, where the profile is based on at least one of:

meta information associated with the information, or

historical information associated with the information.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15, where the one or more instructions to output the information regarding the second value include:

one or more instructions to generate an alert, associated with the information, based on the second value; and

one or more instructions to output the alert.

19. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15, where the one or more instructions to process the information include:

one or more instructions to process the information using the rule to generate a plurality of alarms;

one or more instructions to sort the plurality of alarms into a plurality of groups based on attributes of the information; and

one or more instructions to analyze the plurality of groups to generate the second value.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15, where the instructions further include:

one or more instructions to analyze the second value with respect to a first threshold and a second threshold;

one or more instructions to classify the information as a first type of information when the second value is less than the first threshold; and

one or more instructions to classify the information as an second type of information when the second value is greater than the second threshold.
