Abstract

A method for interactive visualization of a decision assessment on a graphical user interface, including generating, by a computer processor, that includes generating, by a computer processor, the decision assessment model having a first set of circular sectors on a first ring, a second set of circular sectors on a second ring wherein each of the second set of circular sectors is related to a corresponding first circular sector, and a third set of circular sectors on a third ring wherein each of the third circular sectors is related to a corresponding second circular sector. The first set of circular sectors, the second set of circular sectors and the third set of circular sectors include concentric rings with a common center.

Claims

1. A method for interactive visualization of a decision assessment for an entity on a graphical user interface, the method comprising:

generating, by a computer processor, the decision assessment model having

a first set of circular sectors on a first ring,

a second set of circular sectors on a second ring wherein each of the second set of circular sectors is related to a corresponding first circular sector, and

a third set of circular sectors on a third ring wherein each of the third circular sectors is related to a corresponding second circular sector,

wherein the first set of circular sectors, the second set of circular sectors and the third set of circular sectors comprise concentric rings with a common center; and

displaying the decision assessment on the graphical user interface of the computer display device.

2. The method for interactive visualization of claim 1, wherein

the first set of circular sectors on the first ring represents one or more guideline,

the second set of circular sectors on the second ring represents one or more condition related to the guideline, and

the third set of circular sectors on the third ring represents one or more issue relating to each condition, and

the first set of circular sectors comprising each guideline, the second set of circular sectors comprising each condition and the third set of circular sectors of the one or more issue relating to the condition comprise concentric rings with a common center.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the one or more issue related to the condition and the one or more condition related to the guideline are bounded by common radial lines.

4. The method of claim 2, further comprising a circle inside the first ring that comprises a status indicator.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the status indicator comprises a status displayed as approved, pending or rejected.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein the status indicator further comprises a color.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the color comprises green when a condition relating to a guideline is satisfied, red when a condition related to a guideline is not satisfied, and yellow when a condition related to a guideline is unresolved.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein the color comprises green when an issue relating to a condition for approval is satisfied, red when an issue related to a condition for approval is not satisfied, and yellow when an issue related to a condition for approval is unresolved.

9. The method of claim 2, further comprising:

parsing risk data to be analyzed according to each condition;

assigning the risk data to an issue related to the condition; and

displaying each issue on one or more circular sector on the display model.

11. The method for interactive visualization of claim 1, wherein

the first set of circular sectors on the first ring represents one or more view,

the second set of circular sectors on the second ring represents one or more category related to the view, and

the third set of circular sectors on the third ring represents one or more sub-category relating to each category, and

the first set of circular sectors, the second set of circular, and the third set of circular sectors comprise concentric rings with a common center.

15. The method of claim 1, wherein the first, second and third ring comprise concentric rings with the first ring inside the second ring and the second ring inside the third ring.

16. The method of claim 1, wherein the first ring and the second ring comprise a common boundary.

17. The method of claim 1, wherein the second ring and the third ring comprise a common boundary.

18. The method of claim 1, wherein a value of a central angle of one or more circular sector is defined by the user.

19. The method of claim 1, wherein a value of a central angle of one or more circular sector is based on a risk level as a proportion of a total risk score.

20. The method of claim 1, wherein a direction of an axis of the first, second and third, cylinder is moveable, by the user, relative to a plane defining a display screen of the graphic user interface.

21. The method of claim 1, wherein a direction of an axis of the first, second and third ring is moveable, by the user, relative to a plane defining a display screen of the graphic user interface.

22. The method of claim 1, wherein a direction of an axis of the first, second and third ring represents time and the interactive visualization comprises a cylinder whereby the user selects a time period to display a decision assessment performed during that time period.

23. The method of claim 1, each circular sector of the at least a first set of circular sectors comprises an annulus with an area of the circular sector represented by the formula:

wherein the circular sector is bounded by an inner arc L1, outer arc L2, inner radius r1, and outer radius r2.

24. The method of claim 1, wherein the one or more category comprises one or more user-defined category.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein:

the one or more views include one or more records for a person including identifiers, relationships, fraud, background, social media, utility services, licenses, assets, business affiliations, human resources, information technology policy;

14. The method of claim 13, wherein the background comprises one or more records for a person relating to criminality, financial history, lawsuits, dockets, employment history, education history, and military.
