Abstract

Methods, computer program products, and systems are described that include accepting an indication of a schedule for administration of a bioactive agent to an individual and presenting an indication of an artificial sensory experience at least partly based on the accepting an indication of the schedule for administration of the bioactive agent to the individual.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

at least one administration unit including at least one bioactive agent and that is operable to deliver the at least one bioactive agent to an individual; and

at least one mobile device that is communicably linked with the at least one administration unit and that is operable to monitor one or more aspects of the individual, the at least one mobile device including at least;

one or more media including one or more executable instructions; and

at least one processor operatively connected to the one or more media, wherein the at least one processor is configured to execute the one or more executable instructions to perform operations including at least;

monitoring one or more aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device;

detecting at least one symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy;

controlling dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual; and

implementing at least one computer-based simulated interactive experience using the at least one mobile device at one or more times relative to administration of the at least one bioactive agent when concentration of the at last one bioactive agent is expected to be below at least one specified value determined based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one bioactive agent.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one administration unit including at least one bioactive agent and that is operable to deliver the at least one bioactive agent to an individual comprises:

at least one of the following types of administration units that include at least one bioactive agent and that is operable to deliver the at least one bioactive agent to an individual;

consumable, container, wearable, implantable, nasal, or transdermal.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one administration unit including at least one bioactive agent and that is operable to deliver the at least one bioactive agent to an individual comprises:

at least one administration unit including at least one of the following types of bioactive agents;

stimulant, addiction, antipsychotic, sleep, anxiolytic, antidepressant, mood stabilizer, memory dampening, pain, benzodiazepine, serotonin selective reuptake inhibitor, serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, antagonist, receptor, dopamine agonist, modulator, inhibitor, beta blocker, hypnotic, hormone, melatonin, methadone, agonist, nicotine, lithium, anticonvulsant, antipyretic, NSAID, analgesic, anticonvulsant, diuretic, antiepileptic, appetite modulator, antimanic, antihistamine, amphetamine, histamine, or blocker.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one mobile device that is communicably linked with the at least one administration unit and that is operable to monitor one or more aspects of the individual comprises:

at least one of the following types of mobile devices that is communicably linked with the at least one administration unit and that is operable to monitor one or more aspects of the individual;

mobile phone, smartphone, wrist-wearable, goggles, or eyeglasses.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the monitoring one or more aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device comprises:

monitoring usage, communication, social interaction, interpersonal communication, or game play of the individual.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the monitoring one or more aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device comprises:

monitoring one or more of the following aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device;

mental, behavior, action, mood, appearance, voice, speech, speech pattern, involuntary behavior, pupil dilation, heart rate, audible, visible, or facial expression.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the detecting at least one symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy comprises:

detecting at least one symptom of one of more of the following conditions based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy;

sleep, psychosis, addiction, depression, anxiety, pain, bipolar, attention, or speech.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the controlling dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual comprises:

administering the at least one bioactive agent to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the controlling dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual comprises:

modifying dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual.

The system of claim 1, wherein the implementing at least one computer-based simulated interactive experience using the at least one mobile device at one or more times relative to administration of the at least one bioactive agent when concentration of the at last one bioactive agent is expected to be below at least one specified value determined based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one bioactive agent comprises:

implementing at least one virtual world experience using the at least one mobile device at one or more times relative to administration of the at least one bioactive agent when concentration of the at last one bioactive agent is expected to be below at least one specified value determined based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one bioactive agent.

11. The system of claim 1, wherein the detecting at least one symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy comprises:

detecting at least one symptom of at least psychological condition associated with the individual based at least partly on voice data of the individual captured using at least one microphone of the mobile device, which voice data deviates from one or more specified levels of normalcy for the individual,

wherein the at least one processor is configured to execute the one or more executable instructions to further perform an operation including at least transmitting at least one report to at least one server via at least one wireless communication link based at least partly on at least one account associated with the individual and based at least partly on at least one detected symptom of at least one psychological condition associated with the individual to modify one or more elements of one or more computer applications used by the individual.

12. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one processor is configured to execute the one or more executable instructions to further perform operations comprising:

comparing at least one detected symptom associated with the individual with at least one database to identify at least one bioactive agent for administration and to identify at least one computer-based simulated interactive experience for implementation.

13. The system of claim 1, wherein the monitoring one or more aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device comprises:

monitoring one or more audible aspects and actions of the individual of the individual using the at least one mobile device,

wherein the detecting at least one symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy includes, but is not limited to, detecting at least one pain symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored audible aspects of the individual and one or more monitored actions of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy,

wherein the controlling dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual includes, but is not limited to, controlling dosage of at least one analgesic agent administered to the individual as a skin preparation using at least one wearable administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one pain symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored audible aspects of the individual and one or more monitored actions of the individual, and

wherein the implementing at least one computer-based simulated interactive experience using the at least one mobile device at one or more times relative to administration of the at least one bioactive agent when concentration of the at last one bioactive agent is expected to be below at least one specified value determined based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one bioactive agent includes, but is not limited to, implementing at least one computer game using the at least one mobile device to distract the individual when the at least one analgesic agent is expected to be less effective based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one analgesic agent.

14. The system of claim 1, wherein the monitoring one or more aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device comprises:

monitoring one or more audible aspects and actions of the individual of the individual using the at least one mobile device,

wherein the detecting at least one symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy includes, but is not limited to, detecting at least one pain symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored audible aspects of the individual and one or more monitored actions of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy,

wherein the controlling dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual includes, but is not limited to, controlling dosage of at least one analgesic agent administered to the individual using at least one wearable administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one pain symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored audible aspects of the individual and one or more monitored actions of the individual, and

wherein the implementing at least one computer-based simulated interactive experience using the at least one mobile device at one or more times relative to administration of the at least one bioactive agent when concentration of the at last one bioactive agent is expected to be below at least one specified value determined based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one bioactive agent includes, but is not limited to, implementing at least one computer game using the at least one mobile device to distract the individual when the at least one analgesic agent is expected to be less effective based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one analgesic agent.

15. The system of claim 1, wherein the monitoring one or more aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device comprises:

monitoring one or more interpersonal communications, body movement, and visual appearance of the individual using at least one smartphone device,

wherein the detecting at least one symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy includes, but is not limited to, detecting at least one symptom of depression of the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored interpersonal communications of the individual, monitored body movement of the individual, and monitored visual appearance of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy, and

wherein the controlling dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual includes, but is not limited to, controlling dosage of at least one antidepressant agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to the at least one symptom of depression of the individual detected based at least partly on one or more monitored interpersonal communications of the individual, monitored body movement of the individual, and monitored visual appearance of the individual.

16. The system of claim 1, wherein the monitoring one or more aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device comprises:

monitoring pupil dilation of the individual during usage of at least one game implemented using the at least one mobile device,

wherein the detecting at least one symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy includes, but is not limited to, detecting an increase in attention of the individual based at least partly on monitored pupil dilation of the individual which deviates from one or more specified levels of normalcy, and

wherein the controlling dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual includes, but is not limited to, decreasing dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of an increase in attention of the individual based at least partly on monitored pupil dilation of the individual.

17. The system of claim 1, wherein the monitoring one or more aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device comprises:

monitoring speech of the individual using information communicated via the at least one smartphone device,

wherein the detecting at least one symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy includes, but is not limited to, detecting at least one symptom of anxiety associated with the individual based at least partly on at least one change in speech of the individual as compared to one or more specified levels of normalcy,

wherein the controlling dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual includes, but is not limited to, controlling dosage of the at least one anxiolytic administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom of anxiety associated with the individual, and

wherein the implementing at least one computer-based simulated interactive experience using the at least one mobile device at one or more times relative to administration of the at least one bioactive agent when concentration of the at last one bioactive agent is expected to be below at least one specified value determined based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one bioactive agent includes, but is not limited to, modifying visual appearance of one or more user interfaces of at least one application on the at least one smartphone device.

18. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one administration unit including at least one bioactive agent and that is operable to deliver the at least one bioactive agent to an individual comprises:

at least one wearable administration unit including at least one nutritional supplement and that is operable to deliver the at least one nutritional supplement to an individual,

wherein the at least one mobile device that is communicably linked with the at least one administration unit and that is operable to monitor one or more aspects of the individual includes, but is not limited to, eyeglasses that are communicably linked with the at least one wearable administration unit and that are operable to monitor one or more eye characteristics of the individual,

wherein the monitoring one or more aspects of the individual using the at least one mobile device includes, but is not limited to, monitoring one or more eye characteristics of the individual using the eyeglasses,

wherein the detecting at least one symptom associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored aspects of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy includes, but is not limited to, detecting at least one nutritional deficiency associated with the individual based at least partly on one or more monitored eye characteristics of the individual which deviate from one or more specified levels of normalcy, and

wherein the controlling dosage of the at least one bioactive agent administered to the individual using the at least one administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with the individual includes, but is not limited to, increasing dosage of the at least one nutritional supplement administered to the individual using the at least one wearable administration unit at least partly in response to detection of the at least one nutritional deficiency associated with the individual.

19. A system comprising:

at least one administration unit that includes at least

at least one container,

one or more reservoirs within the at least one container and that is operable to contain at least one bioactive agent;

at least one transfer mechanism operable to release the at least one bioactive agent from the one or more reservoirs for delivery to at least one bodily site;

at least one smartphone device including at least;

at least one sensor for monitoring at least of speech, appearance, input, or movement;

at least one wireless transceiver operable to communicate wirelessly with the at least one administration unit;

at least one display;

one or more media including one or more executable instructions; and

at least one processor operatively connected to the one or more media, wherein the at least one processor is configured to execute the one or more executable instructions to perform operations including at least;

monitoring at least one of speech, appearance, input, or movement of the individual using the at least one sensor,

detecting at least one symptom associated with at least one health condition of the individual based at least partly on one or more of monitored speech, appearance, input or movement of the individual which deviates from one or more specified levels of normalcy;

determining one or more dosages of the at least one bioactive agent at least partly in response to detection of the at least one symptom associated with at least one health condition of the individual based at least partly on one or more of monitored speech, appearance, input, or movement of the individual which deviates from one or more specified levels of normalcy; and

implementing one or more simulated environments at least using the at least one display at one or more staggered times relative to administration of the at least one bioactive agent based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one bioactive agent.

20. A system comprising:

at least one administration unit that includes at least

at least one housing;

one or more reservoirs within the at least one housing and that is operable to contain at least one antidepressant agent;

at least one controllable transfer mechanism operable to transfer the at least one antidepressant agent from the one or more reservoirs for delivery to at least one bodily site;

at least one wireless receiver operable to receive one or more wirelessly transmitted instructions; and

at least one controller operable to control the at least one controllable transfer mechanism to deliver one or more dosages of the at least one antidepressant agent in accordance with one or more wirelessly transmitted instructions received by the at least one wireless receiver, and

at least one smartphone device communicably linked with the at least one administration unit, the at least one smartphone device including at least;

at least one sensor for monitoring visual appearance of an individual;

at least one wireless transmitter operable to communicate wirelessly with the at least one administration unit;

at least one display;

one or more media including one or more executable instructions; and

at least one processor operatively connected to the one or more media, wherein the at least one processor is configured to execute the one or more executable instructions to perform operations including at least;

monitoring appearance of the individual using the at least one sensor;

detecting at least one depression symptom of the individual based at least partly on monitored appearance of the individual which deviates from one or more specified levels of normalcy for the individual;

transmitting one or more instructions wirelessly to the at least one administration unit that control the at least one controllable transfer mechanism to deliver one or more dosages of the at least one antidepressant agent to at least one bodily site at least partly in response to detection of the at least one depression symptom of the individual based at least partly on monitored appearance of the individual which deviates from one or more specified levels of normalcy for the individual; and

implementing one or more modifications to at least one social interaction application used by the individual at one or more staggered times relative to administration of the at least one antidepressant agent based at least partly on one or more pharmacokinetic profiles of the at least one antidepressant agent, the one or more staggered times corresponding to when the antidepressant agent is expected to be least effective.
