1. An optical system comprising:
- a first panel comprising a plurality of first electrodes extending in a first direction;
a second panel facing the first panel and comprising a plurality of second electrodes extending in a second direction crossing the first direction;
an optical conversion layer between the first panel and the second panel; and
a first insulating layer between the first electrodes and the second electrodes, the first insulating layer including an organic material,wherein, in a touch mode, one or more of the first electrodes and one or more of the second electrodes crossing each other form a touch sensing capacitor configured to sense a touch, andwherein, in a multi-view mode, the first electrodes and the second electrodes are configured to apply an electric field to the optical conversion layer, the electric field depending on a voltage difference between the first electrode and the second electrode, to generate different phase differences according to positions along the optical system.

a display panel; an optical system over the display panel; and a graphics controller configured to control the display panel and the optical system, wherein the optical system comprises; a first panel comprising a plurality of first electrodes extending in a first direction; a second panel facing the first panel and comprising a plurality of second electrodes extending in a second direction crossing the first direction; an optical conversion layer between the first panel and the second panel; and a first insulating layer between the first electrodes and the second electrodes, the first insulating layer including an organic material, wherein, in a touch mode, one or more of the first electrodes and one or more of the second electrodes crossing each other form a touch sensing capacitor, and wherein, in a multi-view mode, the first electrodes and the second electrodes are configured to apply an electric field to the optical conversion layer, the electric field depending on a voltage difference between the first electrode and the second electrode, to generate different phase differences according to positions along the optical system, the first insulating layer substantially completely overlap or cover the plurality of first electrodes or/and the plurality of second electrodes in an area corresponding to a display area of the display panel. - View Dependent Claims (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
