Abstract

An ampoule for a medical liquid, comprising an ampoule body for receiving a medical liquid and a connection part for connecting a removal device to the ampoule. The ampoule body is produced as a plastic injection-molded part by means of a plastic injection molding process. In this manner an ampoule is provided which allows a simple and inexpensive production of the ampoule and can ensure a sterile storage of medical liquids.

Claims

1. An ampoule for a medical liquid, comprising

an ampoule body for receiving a medical liquid, and

a connection part for connecting a removal device to the ampoule,

wherein

the ampoule body is produced as a plastic injection-molded part by means of plastic injection molding.

2. The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein the ampoule is of a multi-part construction, with the connection part being joined as a separate part to the ampoule body, in particular with the connection part being held with a form fit on a neck of the ampoule body.

The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein the connection part has a threaded segment with at least one thread turn for producing a threaded connection to a removal device and has a break-off piece connected to the threaded segment, wherein the break-off piece, in a state when connected to the threaded segment, closes an opening of the ampoule body and, in order to free the opening, is removable from the threaded segment.

4. The ampoule as claimed in claim 3, wherein the threaded segment and the break-off piece are designed in one piece, wherein a predetermined breaking point for breaking the break-off piece from the threaded segment is arranged between the threaded segment and the break-off piece.

5. The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein a membrane element for sealing a transition between the ampoule body and the connection part is arranged between the ampoule body and the connection part.

6. The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein the ampoule body is flexible, in such a way that it is collapsible when a medical liquid is removed from the ampoule body.

7. The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein the ampoule body has, on a side facing way from the connection part, a base element which, as a separate element, is joined to the ampoule body, preferably by means of a cohesively bonded connection.

8. The ampoule as claimed in claim 7, wherein the base element is formed by a film connected to the ampoule body, in particular by a film adhesively bonded or welded to the ampoule body.

9. The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein the ampoule body has, on a side facing away from the connection part, a base element which is produced in one piece with the ampoule body by means of plastic injection molding.

10. The ampoule as claimed in claim 7, wherein the base element arches into the ampoule body.

11. The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein the ampoule body has, on a side facing away from the connection part, a stand ring which protrudes from the ampoule body.

12. The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein the ampoule body has a coating, in particular for providing an oxygen barrier.

The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein the ampoule body, in cross section transverse to an attachment direction (A) along which the connection part is joined to the ampoule body, has a central portion with a maximum ampoule breadth (D), wherein the ampoule breadth, starting from the central portion, narrows toward ends of the ampoule body on both sides of the central portion.

The ampoule as claimed in claim 1, wherein the ampoule body, in a transition area to the neck of the ampoule body, has beveled shoulders on at least two opposite sides, and/or in that, in a central portion of the ampoule body, two opposite sides of the ampoule body, which provide the ampoule width (E), have a substantially straight portion.

The ampoule as claimed in claim 2, wherein the connection part has a threaded segment with at least one thread turn for producing a threaded connection to a removal device and has a break-off piece connected to the threaded segment, wherein the break-off piece, in a state when connected to the threaded segment, closes an opening of the ampoule body and, in order to free the opening, is removable from the threaded segment.

17. The ampoule as claimed in claim 2, wherein a membrane element for sealing a transition between the ampoule body and the connection part is arranged between the ampoule body and the connection part.

18. The ampoule as claimed in claim 2, wherein the ampoule body is flexible, in such a way that it is collapsible when a medical liquid is removed from the ampoule body.

19. The ampoule as claimed in claim 2, wherein the ampoule body has, on a side facing way from the connection part, a base element which, as a separate element, is joined to the ampoule body, preferably by means of a cohesively bonded connection.

20. The ampoule as claimed in claim 2, wherein the ampoule body has, on a side facing away from the connection part, a base element which is produced in one piece with the ampoule body by means of plastic injection molding.

15. A method for producing an ampoule for a medical liquid, wherein the ampoule has

an ampoule body for receiving a medical liquid, and

a connection part for connecting a removal device to the ampoule,

wherein

the ampoule body is produced as a plastic injection-molded part by means of plastic injection molding.
