- detecting, by a processor, data indicative of an event;
identifying, by the processor in response to the detecting, at least one accessory item associated with the event;
wherein detecting of the data indicative of the event is independent of a geographic location of the at least one accessory item associated with the event;
determining, by the processor based on a signal provided by a mobile device associated with the accessory item, the geographic location of the at least one accessory item associated with the event; and
providing, by the processor, an indication of the geographic location of the at least one associated accessory item.
