1. A method to change mode of operation of a first device associated with a first user, the method comprising:

  • receiving, by the first device associated with the first user, information indicating a presence of a second user, wherein the information indicating the presence of the second user is based at least on an audible determination of the presence of the second user, a visual determination of the presence of the second user, or a determination of a presence of a second device associated with the second user;

    determining, by the first device associated with the first user, based at least on the received information, whether the second user is present within a predetermined range of distance from the first device;

    identifying, based at least on the determination, by the first device associated with the first user, a triggering event that requires a change in mode of operation of the first device from a first mode of operation to a second mode of operation; and

    changing, by the first device associated with the first user, mode of operation of the first device from the first mode of operation to the second mode of operation based at least on the identified triggering event.
