1. A conditioning system for nutritional substances comprising:
- an ambient temperature sensor;
a probe temperature sensor;
an optical sensor;
a database including various conditioning protocols referenced to various nutritional substances, the conditioning protocols including instructions executable by a controller for operating a conditioner, the executable instructions including at least a probe temperature target and an ambient temperature target;
a memory containing machine readable medium comprising machine executable code having stored thereon instructions for performing a method of conditioning a nutritional sub stance;
a controller coupled to the memory, the controller configured to execute the machine executable code to cause the controller to;
receive, by the controller, optical data output from the optical sensor that represents a nutritional substance;
determine, by the controller, the identity of the nutritional substance by processing the optical data;
retrieve, by the controller, a condition protocol from the database that is referenced to the nutritional substance; and
execute, by the controller, the condition protocol operating the conditioner to cook the nutritional substance, the operating being modified during conditioning based on feedback from the ambient and probe temperature sensors.
