Abstract

Some examples described herein relate to deployment of a plurality of programs on a server in a cloud network. An example method may include using a single deployer agent on a server to deploy the plurality of programs on the server, wherein the plurality of programs are deployed from different sources via same port on the server.

Claims

1. A method for deploying a plurality of programs on a server in a cloud network, comprising:

using a single deployer agent on the server to deploy the plurality of programs on the server, wherein the plurality of programs are deployed from different sources via same port on the server.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising installing the single deployer agent on the server.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the single deployer agent is installed using a DevOps tool.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising using the single deployer agent on the server to monitor the plurality of programs on the server.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the single deployer agent exchange a security certificate with each of the plurality of programs prior to the deployment of the plurality of programs on the server.

6. A system, comprising:

a server in a cloud network, wherein the server includes a single deployer agent to deploy a plurality of programs on the server, and wherein the plurality of programs are deployed from separate source servers via same port on the server.

7. The system of claim 6, wherein the server is a physical server or a virtual server.

8. The system of claim 6, wherein the plurality of programs include one of operating system software, application software and firmware.

9. The system of claim 6, wherein the cloud network includes one of a private cloud network, a public cloud network or a hybrid cloud network.

10. The system of claim 6, further comprising a deployer module to deploy the single deployer agent on the server in the cloud network.

11. A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions executable by a processor, the instructions comprising:

deployment instructions to cause a single deployer agent on a server in a cloud network to deploy a plurality of programs on the server, wherein each of the plurality of programs is deployed from a separate source via same port on the server.

12. The storage medium of claim 11, the instructions further comprising installation instructions to install the single deployer agent on the server.

13. The storage medium of claim 11, the instructions further comprising monitoring instructions to monitor the plurality of programs on the server.

14. The storage medium of claim 11, wherein the monitoring instructions include are defined in a monitoring policy.

15. The storage medium of claim 11, wherein the monitoring instructions include instructions to deploy the monitoring policy during deployment of the plurality of programs on the server from different sources.
