Abstract

Smart routing synchronization systems socialize a synthetic rebroadcast or group stream for enabling members of a user group to (re)broadcast select content to other members of the user group and collaboratively curate content delivery. The systems are based on a content-identification process and further a process for (re)broadcasting content. These processes are cooperable among a group of member clients each of which are in communication with at least two content sources. The synchronization process identifies select content and directs delivery of the content from an optimal resource for each member client via a smart routing protocol. The (re)broadcast process prompts delivery of the select content to members of the user group from a content origination member of the group, and group members are thereby able to simultaneously access the content for the purpose of providing a content-based platform for social interaction.

Claims

1. A social broadcasting system for enabling members of a user group to broadcast select content to other members of the user group, the social broadcasting system comprising, in combination:

synchronization means for real-time synchronization of media content among members of the user group and content broadcast means, the synchronization and content broadcast means being cooperable among a group of member clients each of which are in communication with at least two content sources, the at least two content sources each being characterized by a separate legal access point thereby providing at least two legal access points for the same content, said synchronization means comprising means for identifying select content and delivery direction means for directing delivery of the select content from a select optimal content resource location for each member client, each select optimal data resource location being selected from the at least two content sources, said selection being based on user-defined parameters, the content broadcast means for prompting the delivery direction means to deliver the select content to members of the user group from a content origination member of the user group, the members of the user group thereby being able to simultaneously access the select content originating from the content origination member and received from the select optimal content resource locations within the user group for the purpose of providing a content-based platform for social interaction.

2. The social broadcasting system of claim 1 wherein the at least two content sources comprise at least one indirect content source and a direct content source.

3. The social broadcasting system of claim 1 comprising a dialogue platform, the dialogue platform enabling members of the user group to engage in real-time dialogue regarding at least the select content.

4. The social broadcasting system of claim 3 wherein the dialogue platform comprises means for overlaying live audio for enabling members of the user group to orally converse in real-time regarding at least the select content.

5. The social broadcasting system of claim 1 comprising system activation means for activating said system.

6. The social broadcasting system of claim 5 wherein the system activation means are operable via device re-orientation.

7. The social broadcasting system of claim 5 wherein the system activation means are operable via select vehicular button-based means.

8. The social broadcasting system of claim 7 wherein the select vehicular button-based means are selected from the group consisting of hand-operable means and foot-operable means.

9. The social broadcasting system of claim 2 comprising data-routing governance means in communication with the at least two separate legal access points for providing (a) industry rights management (b) compliance monitoring and/or (c) compliance reporting of content delivery as delivered from either of a primary legal access point or at least one secondary legal access point.

10. The social broadcasting system of claim 1 comprising a group streaming system for enabling members of the user group to collaboratively curate content delivery.

11. The social broadcasting system of claim 10 wherein the group streaming system comprises means for collecting individual user content preferences, and means for compiling a group curation profile based on the individual user content preferences.

12. The social broadcasting system of claim 11 comprising means for individually modifying the group curation profile for optimizing content delivery to the user group.

13. The social broadcasting system of claim 1 wherein the members of the user group are grouped by way of a broadcast stream within a geographic distribution zone.

14. The social broadcasting system of claim 13 utilizing radio frequency emitting nodes to identify geographic boundaries of the geographic distribution zone in order to create a streaming/digital marketplace within said geographic distribution zone.

15. The social broadcasting system according to claim 14 wherein said geographic distribution zone is defined by a geographic location in order to create a streaming/digital virtual storefront within said geographic location.

16. A group streaming system for enabling individual members of a user group to collaboratively curate content delivery, the group streaming system comprising (a) means for collecting individual user content preferences;

(b) means for compiling a group content preference profile based on the individual user content preferences; and

(c) synchronization means for real-time synchronization of media content among the individual members of the user group, the synchronization means being cooperable among a group of member clients each of which are in communication with at least two content sources, the at least two content sources each being characterized by a separate legal access point thus defining at least two legal access points for each member client, said synchronization means comprising means for identifying select content and delivery direction means for directing delivery of the select content from a select optimal content resource location for each member client, each select optimal data resource location being selected from the at least two content sources and being based on user-defined parameters, the select content being deliverable to members of the user group from a content origination member of the user group, the members of the user group thereby being able to simultaneously access the select content originating from the content origination member and received from the select optimal content resource locations within the user group for the purpose of providing a content-based platform for social interaction.

18. The group streaming system of claim 16 comprising means for individually modifying the group content preference for optimizing content delivery to the user group.

19. The group streaming system of claim 16 comprising a dialogue platform, the dialogue platform enabling members of the user group to engage in real-time dialogue regarding at least the select content.

20. The group streaming system of claim 19 wherein the dialogue platform comprises means for overlaying live audio for enabling members of the user group to orally converse in real-time regarding at least the select content.

21. The group streaming system of claim 16 comprising system activation means for activating said system.

22. The group streaming system of claim 21 wherein the system activation means are operable via device re-orientation.

23. The group streaming system of claim 22 wherein the system activation means are operable via select vehicular button-based means.

24. The group streaming system of claim 23 wherein the select vehicular button-based means are selected from the group consisting of hand-operable means and foot-operable means.

The group streaming system of claim 16 comprising data-routing governance means in communication with the at least two separate legal access points for providing (a) industry rights management (b) compliance monitoring and/or (c) compliance reporting of content delivery as delivered from either of a primary legal access point or at least one secondary legal access point.

26. A social broadcasting method for enabling members of a user group to broadcast select content to other members of the user group, the social broadcasting method comprising the steps of:

sharing sourced content with group member devices in communication with a group origination member device;

querying whether the shared sourced content is most efficiently sourced at each of the group member devices; and

sourcing content to each of the group member devices from an optimal secondary content source selected from at least two secondary content sources in communication with each group member device, each secondary content source being characterized by a separate legal access point, said source selection being based on individually-defined parameters.

27. The social broadcasting method of claim 26 comprising the following steps before the step of sharing sourced content with group member devices:

receiving initially sourced content from an initial content provider at the group origination member device;

querying whether the received initially sourced content is most efficiently sourced from the initial content provider; and

sourcing content to the group origination member device from an optimal primary content source selected from at least two primary content sources in communication with the group origination member device, each primary content source being characterized by a separate legal access point, said source selection being based on individually-defined parameters.

28. The social broadcasting method of claim 26 comprising the step of dialoguing among members of the user group regarding at least the sourced content.

29. The social broadcasting method of claim 26 comprising the step of governing industry rights according to variously sourced content, the variously sourced content being delivered from either of a primary legal access point or at least one secondary legal access point.

30. The social broadcasting method of claim 29 wherein the step of governing industry rights comprises the steps of compliance monitoring and/or compliance reporting of sourced content.

31. The social broadcasting method of claim 26 comprising the step of collaboratively curating sourced content via a group curation profile.

32. The social broadcasting method of claim 31 comprising the step of collecting individual user content preferences, and compiling the group curation profile based on the individual user content preferences.

33. The social broadcasting method of claim 32 comprising means for individually modifying the group curation profile for optimizing sourced content delivery to the user group.

34. The social broadcasting method of claim 26 wherein the querying step comprises the step of file-matching synchronization.

35. The social broadcasting method of claim 34 wherein the step of file-matching synchronization comprises the step of analyzing waveform metrics for rendering a file match.

36. A group streaming method for enabling members of a user group to collaboratively curate content delivery, the method comprising the steps of:

initiating a group stream by inviting potential members of a user group to join the user group;

accepting invitations to the group stream by the potential members who thereby join the group stream and become members of the user group;

individually and respectively inputting user preferences into a group curation compilation system;

compiling the individually and respectively input user preferences into a group curation profile;

suggesting sharable content defined by the group curation profile to the members of the user group; and

sourcing the suggested sharable content to the members of the user group, each member of the user group being in communication with at least two content sources, each content source being characterized by a separate legal access point, said source selection being based on user-defined parameters.

37. The group streaming method of claim 36 wherein the members of the user group refine the group curation profile by individually and respectively updating the group curation profile with periodic additional input thereby optimizing the group curation profile and delivery of content.

38. The group streaming method of claim 36 comprising the step of dialoguing among members of the user group regarding at least the delivered content.

39. A smart routing synchronization system for socializing a synthetic rebroadcast or group stream, the smart routing synchronization system comprising smart routing means for routing an indirect source of a select copyrighted content having a first legal access point to a consumer having a direct request source for consumption thereby, the direct request source having a second legal access point, said smart routing means thereby creating a synthetic broadcast, the synthetic broadcast being characterized by direct source delivery of the select copyrighted content to the consumer via the second legal access point as prompted by indirect source routing to the consumer of the select copyrighted content from the first legal access point.

40. The smart routing synchronization system of claim 39 wherein the indirect source is defined by a select source provider, the select source provider being selected from a provider group, the provider group comprising a computer-curated stream provider and an individual live curator.

A smart routing synchronization system for providing an optimally sourced broadcast to a social consumer group, the smart routing synchronization system comprising smart routing means for routing select, consumable, legally-protected content to individual members of the social consumer group from an optimal legal access point associated with each individual member and as determined from at least two legal access points based upon pre-defined parameters individually defined by each individual member of the social consumer group.

The smart routing synchronization system of claim 41 whereby the optimally sourced broadcast is characterized by direct source delivery of the select legally-protected content to the consumer from a first legal access point as prompted by a select initiating source characterized by a second legal access point.

43. The smart routing synchronization system of claim 42 wherein the select initiating source is selected from the group consisting of an indirect source and a direct source.

44. The smart routing synchronization system of claim 43 wherein the pre-defined parameters are selected from a parameter group comprising price efficiency parameters and data quality parameters.

45. The smart routing synchronization system of claim 43 wherein the direct source is peer-connected, the select legally-protected content being directly sourced based upon the direct source'"'"'s legal right to source said select legally-protected content.

46. The smart routing synchronization system of claim 41 comprising (a) industry rights management means, (b) compliance monitoring means and/or (c) compliance reporting means, said means for managing, monitoring and/or reporting transmission of the select legally-protected content deliverable from either of a primary legal access point or at least one secondary legal access point.

A smart routing synchronization system for providing an optimally sourced broadcast to a social consumer group, the smart routing synchronization system comprising smart routing means for routing select, consumable, legally-protected content to individual members of the social consumer group from an optimal legal access point associated with each individual member and as determined from at least two legal access points, the at least two legal access points consisting of a user'"'"'s own legal access point and at least one third party legal access point.
