Abstract

Methods and systems for tracking user behavior, the user behavior including one or more of: one or more user actions and one or more user interactions with a vehicle. A storage system stores the user behavior, where the tracked user behavior is associated with a driver and the storage system is capable of storing the tracked behavior for the driver from a plurality of vehicles.

21. A driving interaction game system for a vehicle, comprising:

a games module adapted to receive information collected by one or more vehicle sensors and driver sensors of the vehicle, wherein the information is collected while the vehicle is being driven by a user;

a rules set including one or more game rules for interactive driving games for the vehicle, wherein the one or more game rules define acceptable driving behavior for the interactive driving games;

a scoring module adapted to;

monitor the received information;

determine, based on the received information, a driving performance of the user driving the vehicle; and

generate, based at least partially on the driving performance of the user driving the vehicle and the one or more game rules, a user score rating the driving performance of the user while driving the vehicle; and

a driver facts data storage memory adapted to store at least the user score.

22. The driving interaction game system of claim 21, wherein the user score is sent from a communication device associated with the vehicle across a wireless communication network to at least one of another communication device associated with another user, a social network server, an insurance company server, and a peer-rating system server.

23. The driving interaction game system of claim 21, wherein rewards are provided to the user driving the vehicle based on the user score including a number of points awarded for a particular driving behavior.

25. The driving interaction game system of claim 21, wherein an objective of at least one of the interactive driving games is to provide smooth transportation to one or more passengers, and one or more of g-forces, passenger input and peer input are evaluated by the games module.

26. The driving interaction game system of claim 21, wherein an objective of at least one of the interactive driving games is to be a considerate driver, and one or more of g-forces, passenger input, proximate driver'"'"'s input and peer input are evaluated by the games module.

27. The driving interaction game system of claim 21, wherein a social media site server tracks multiple user scores for the interactive driving games.

28. The driving interaction game system of claim 21, wherein real-time information is provided to the user driving the vehicle about at least one other user score associated with at least one of the interactive driving games.

29. The driving interaction game system of claim 21, wherein the user score is sent from a communication device associated with the vehicle across a wireless communication network to a driving school server, and wherein the games module cannot be deactivated by the user driving the vehicle.

30. The driving interaction game system of claim 21, further comprising a user identification module adapted to identify the user driving the vehicle.

24. The driving interaction game system 21, wherein an objective of at least one of the interactive driving games is to conserve fuel, and one or more of current fuel consumption and past fuel consumption is evaluated by the games module.

31. A method for providing a driving interaction game for a vehicle, comprising:

receiving, via a processor, information collected by one or more vehicle sensors and driver sensors of the vehicle, wherein the information is collected while the vehicle is being driven by a user;

monitoring, via the processor, the received information;

determining, via the processor and based on the received information, a driving performance of the user driving the vehicle;

generating, via the processor and based at least partially on the driving performance of the user driving the vehicle and on one or more game rules for interactive driving games stored in a memory, a user score rating the driving performance of the user while driving the vehicle; and

storing, via the processor, the user score in a driver facts data storage memory.

32. The method of claim 31, wherein the one or more game rules define an acceptable driving behavior for each of the interactive driving games stored in the memory.

33. The method of claim 32, further comprising:

sending, via a communication device associated with the vehicle, the user score across a wireless communication network to at least one of another communication device associated with another user, a social network server, an insurance company server, and a peer-rating system server.

34. The method of claim 32, wherein an objective of at least one of the interactive driving games is to conserve fuel, and one or more of current fuel consumption and past fuel consumption is evaluated by the games module.

35. The method of claim 32, wherein an objective of at least one of the interactive driving games is to provide smooth transportation to one or more passengers, and one or more of g-forces, passenger input and peer input are evaluated by the games module.

36. The method of claim 32, wherein an objective of at least one of the interactive driving games is to be a considerate driver, and one or more of g-forces, passenger input, proximate driver'"'"'s input and peer input are evaluated by the games module.

37. The method of claim 32, further comprising:

a social media site server, wherein the social media site server tracks multiple user scores for the interactive driving games.

38. The method of claim 32, wherein real-time information is provided to the user driving the vehicle about at least one other user score associated with at least one of the interactive driving games.

39. The method of claim 32, further comprising:

sending, via a communication device associated with the vehicle, the user score across a wireless communication network to a driving school server, and wherein the games module cannot be deactivated by the user driving the vehicle.

40. A vehicle, comprising:

one or more vehicle sensors configured to monitor a state of the vehicle while the vehicle is being driven by a user;

one or more driver sensors configured to monitor driving operation input provided by the user of the vehicle;

a driving interaction game system, comprising;

a games module adapted to receive information collected by the one or more vehicle sensors and the one or more driver sensors of the vehicle;

a rules set including one or more game rules for interactive driving games for the vehicle, wherein the one or more game rules define acceptable driving behavior for a plurality of interactive driving games;

a scoring module adapted to;

monitor the received information;

determine, based on the received information, a driving performance of the user driving the vehicle; and

generate, based at least partially on the driving performance of the user driving the vehicle and the one or more game rules, a user score rating the driving performance of the user while driving the vehicle; and

a driver facts data storage memory adapted to store at least the user score.
