Abstract

A display control method is for performing a process executed by a computer including a processor. The process includes reporting a theme to two or more user terminals; receiving options selected at the two or more user terminals with respect to the theme, from the two or more user terminals; and displaying, on a display device, the options and user information items regarding users who selected the options, in display areas provided for the respective options.

Claims

1. A display control method for performing a process executed by a computer including a processor, the process comprising:

reporting a theme to two or more user terminals;

receiving options selected at the two or more user terminals with respect to the theme, from the two or more user terminals; and

displaying, on a display device, the options and user information items regarding users who selected the options, in display areas provided for the respective options.

2. The display control method according to claim 1, wherein

the user information items include icons indicating the corresponding users.

3. The display control method according to claim 1, wherein

the user information items include messages sent from the two or more user terminals, and

the messages are splayed in a chronological order in the display areas.

4. The display control method according to claim 2, wherein

a tag indicating that the message is related to the theme, is set in each of the messages.

5. The display control method according to claim 1, further comprising:

receiving a change request to change the option from one of the user terminals of a first user among the users; and

changing the display area in which the user information item of the first user is to be displayed on the display device, to the display area corresponding to the change request, in response to receiving the change request.

6. The display control method according to claim 1, wherein

the displaying includes displaying the user information item of a second user among the users, in a selection awaiting area indicating that the option is not yet selected, until a selection of the option is received from another one of the user terminals of the second user.

7. The display control method according to claim 6, wherein

the displaying includes displaying a report prompting to select the option, at the other one of the user terminals of the second user.

8. The display control method according to claim 6, further comprising:

receiving the selected option from the other one of the user terminals of the second user; and

implementing control such that the user information item of the second user is displayed in the display area corresponding to the selected option on the display device.

9. The display control method according to claim 1, further comprising:

displaying, on the display device, a report prompting to set the theme and the options with respect to the theme at the two or more user terminals, when messages are sent and received among the two or more user terminals at a frequency exceeding a predetermined threshold.

10. The display control method according to claim. 1, further comprising:

reporting a content of one of the options as a conclusion with respect to the theme to the two or more user terminals, wherein when selections of the same one of the options are received from greater than or equal to a predetermined ratio of the two or more user terminals among the two or more user terminals from which the selections of the options are received, the same one of the options is reported as the conclusion.

11. An information processing apparatus comprising:

a processor configured to execute a process including

reporting a theme to two or more user terminals, and receiving options selected at the two or more user terminals with respect to the theme, from the two or more user terminals; and

controlling the two or more user terminals to display, on a display device, the options and user information items regarding users who selected the options, in display areas provided for the respective options.

12. A user terminal comprising:

a processor configured to execute a process including

receiving a theme and options selected at other user terminals with respect to the theme, from an information processing apparatus; and

displaying, on a display device, the options and user information items regarding users who selected the options, in display areas provided for the respective options.

13. A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a program that causes a computer including a processor to execute a process performed in a user terminal, the process comprising:

receiving a theme from an information processing apparatus;

receiving options selected at other user terminals with respect to the theme, from the information processing apparatus; and

displaying, on a display device, the options and user information items regarding users who selected the options, in display areas provided for the respective options.
