Abstract

The invention relates to novel multicolour, multitexture and multimaterial cosmetic products as well as to a method for hot casting cosmetic compositions containing fats, in particular an oil.

Said method advantageously renders a mold superfluous and allows the creation of products that include a plurality of compositions such as to produce highly original appearances. Said method also allows the production of products with a very irregular raised designs.

Claims

1. A casting process for the manufacture of a cosmetic product comprising the following steps:

a) making at least one composition fluid, said composition containing an oil and having a fluidification point of between 30 and 150°

C. and a mean hardness—

measured at 25°

C. using a texture analyzer provided with a hemispherical probe—

of between 0.5 and 80 N, heating said composition at fluidification temperature which is greater than said fluidification point so as to obtain a fluid composition,

b) Introducing the fluid composition into a casting nozzle having an orifice

c1) casting the fluidified composition with an injection means through the orifice at a casting temperature, obtaining a volume of fluid composition, depositing said volume on a support cooling said volume to 25°

C. and forming a first solid deposit of composition on said support

c2) changing the nozzle position with respect to the support and moving—

the nozzle in at least one of the three space directions,

d) halting the casting of the fluidified composition, then optionally

e) changing the nozzle position with respect to the support, and

f) repeating steps a) to e) at least one time with said composition or with another composition, and forming at least one second solid deposit on said support, wherein the other composition contains an oil, has a fluidification point of between 30 and 150°

C. and has a mean hardness—

measured at 25°

C. using a texture analyzer provided with a hemispherical probe—

of between 0.5 and 80 N.

2. The casting process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the casting nozzle orifice has one dimension from 0.01 to 5 mm.

3. The casting process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the casting temperature is less than or equal to the fluidification temperature.

4. The process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that casting the fluidified composition in stage c1) and changing the nozzle position in stage c2) are concomitant, so that the first solid deposit has an essentially cylindrical form.

5. The process as claimed claim 1, characterized in that the support does not act as container for the volume of fluid composition, so that solid deposit form essentially from nozzle orifice form.

6. The process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that volume form is identical to solid deposit form, in the absence of any external mechanical or thermal stress applied to the solid deposit.

7. The process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that solid deposit mean diameter is equal to nozzle orifice diameter.

8. The process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that casting is performed at a casting flow rate of between 0.05 and 2 mm³/s.

9. The process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that dynamic viscosity of the composition at the casting temperature and atmospheric pressure is of between 1 and 10 000 mPa·

s, for example between 100 and 500 mPa·

s.

10. The process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the fluidification temperature is 1 to 15°

C. higher than the fluidification point of the composition.

11. The process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the composition has a dropping point of greater than 50°

C., for example of between 70°

C. and 85°

C.

12. The process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the support is cosmetic or non-cosmetic.

13. The process as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a stage g) of casting a thermoplastic substance, wherein stage g) is carried out prior to, subsequent to or in the same time as stage c).

14. A cosmetic product comprising at least one deposit of a cosmetic composition having a fluidification point of between 30 and 150°

C. and containing at least one oil, said deposit having essentially the form of a cylinder or of a sphere, and one of the dimensions of the deposit having a size ranging from 0.01 to 1 mm.

15. The cosmetic product as claimed in claim 14, comprising a plurality of domains consisting of different cosmetic compositions, the ones in contact with the others, arranged nonrandomly.

The cosmetic product as claimed in claim 14, characterized in that the composition comprises between 55 and 65% by weight of the composition of oil(s), from 5 to 11% by weight of the composition of wax(es), from 10 to 30% by weight of the composition of pasty fatty substance(s), and a mixture of pigment(s) and filler(s).

17. The cosmetic product as claimed in claim 14, characterized in that it is a multihue, multitexture or multisubstance product.

18. The cosmetic product as claimed in claim 14, characterized in that it is chosen from the group consisting of a makeup product, a care product, a sun protection product and a scenting product.

19. The cosmetic product as claimed in claim 14, as product for making up the lips.
