Abstract

Devices and systems are provided to isolate and/or reduce vibration from a charging panel. A system for reducing vibration between a charging panel of an electric vehicle and the electric vehicle may include a charging panel, an armature coupled to the charging panel, and a floating section, wherein the armature is between the floating section and the charging panel.

Claims

1. A system for reducing vibration between a charging panel of an electric vehicle and the electric vehicle, the system comprising:

a charging panel;

an armature coupled to the charging panel; and

a floating section, wherein the armature is between the floating section and the charging panel.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the floating section includes a floating means configured to isolate vibration between the charging panel and the electric vehicle.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein the floating section includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion coupled to the electric vehicle and the second portion coupled to the armature, and wherein the first portion does not touch the second section.

4. The system of claim 3, further comprising:

a plurality of magnet assemblies, each magnet assembly of the plurality of magnet assemblies including a plurality of magnets with like poles oriented toward each other, wherein a first magnet of the plurality of magnets is coupled to the first portion and the second magnet of the plurality of magnets is coupled to the second section.

5. The system of claim 3, further comprising:

a plurality of pressurization devices, wherein each pressurization device of the plurality of pressurization devices pressurizes a liquid between the first portion and the second portion.

6. The system of claim 3, further comprising:

a plurality of pressurization devices, wherein each pressurization device of the plurality of pressurization devices pressurizes a gas between the first portion and the second portion.

7. The system of claim 6, wherein the gas is atmospheric air.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the floating section includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion coupled to the electric vehicle and the second portion coupled to the armature, and wherein the first portion is substantially enclosed within the second portion.

9. The system of claim 8, further comprising:

a plurality of magnet assemblies, each magnet assembly of the plurality of magnet assemblies including a plurality of magnets with like poles oriented toward each other, wherein a first magnet of the plurality of magnets is coupled to the first portion and the second magnet of the plurality of magnets is coupled to the second section.

10. The system of claim 8, further comprising:

a plurality of pressurization devices, wherein each pressurization device of the plurality of pressurization devices pressurizes a liquid between the first portion and the second portion.

11. The system of claim 8, further comprising:

a plurality of pressurization devices, wherein each pressurization device of the plurality of pressurization devices pressurizes a gas between the first portion and the second portion.

12. The system of claim 11, wherein the gas is atmospheric air.

13. The system of claim 8, wherein the first portion does not touch the second portion.

14. The system of claim 8, wherein the first portion is suspended within the second portion.

15. The system of claim 8, further comprising:

an actuator rod coupled to the floating section, the actuator rod being configured to move the armature.

16. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

an actuator rod coupled to the floating section, the actuator rod being configured to move the armature.

17. The system of claim 1, wherein the charging panel wireless accepts energy transferred from a charging panel.

18. A system comprising:

a charging panel;

an armature coupled to the charging panel; and

a floating means between the floating section and the charging panel.

19. An electric vehicle including a floating armature, the floating armature comprising:

a charging panel;

an armature coupled to the charging panel; and

a floating section, wherein the armature is between the floating section and the charging panel.

20. The system of claim 19, wherein the floating section includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion coupled to the electric vehicle and the second portion coupled to the armature, and wherein the first portion does not touch the second section.
