Abstract

A conversion management (CM) computing device is provided. The CM computing device includes a processor in communication with a memory. The processor is causes the CM computing device to receive, from an app developer device, a plurality of input locale identifiers and an input text string, convert the input text string into at an input text token, compare the input locale identifiers and the input text token to a localization table that includes a plurality of entries. Each entry includes a stored text token, a stored locale identifier, and a translated text string. The processor further causes the CM computing device to identify a matching entry included within the localization table for the input locale identifiers. The matching entry includes a stored locale identifier matching one of the input locale identifiers, a stored text token matching the text token, and an associated translated text string.

Claims

1. A conversion management (CM) computing device including a processor in communication with a memory, said processor configured to:

receive, from a developer computing device, a plurality of input locale identifiers and an input text string;

convert the input text string into an input text token;

compare the plurality of input locale identifiers and the input text token to a localization table stored within the memory, the localization table including a plurality of entries, each entry including a stored text token, a stored locale identifier, and a translated text string; and

identify a matching entry included within the localization table for each of the plurality of input locale identifiers, wherein each matching entry includes a stored text token matching the input text token, a stored locale identifier matching one of the plurality of input locale identifiers, and an associated translated text string.

The CM computing device of claim 1, said processor further configured to generate a setup profile associated with the developer computing device based on each of the matching entries, the setup profile including each locale identifier associated with each of the matching entries and the associated translated text string for each locale identifier.

3. The CM computing device of claim 2, said processor further configured to:

receive a label identifier associated with the input text string, the label identifier identifying a location within an app where the input text string is located, wherein the setup profile further includes the label identifier for each input text string.

4. The CM computing device of claim 3, said processor further configured to:

receive, from at least one of the developer computing device and a user computing device, a request for the translated text strings included within the setup profile; and

generate a configuration file based on the setup profile, the configuration file including each locale identifier of the matching entries, the associated translated text strings for each locale identifier, and the label identifier.

5. The CM computing device of claim 4, said processor further configured to:

transmit the configuration file to the user computing device for storage within the user computing device, wherein selecting a first locale within the app by the user causes the user computing device to (i) identify a first locale identifier associated with the first locale included within the configuration file, and (ii) automatically replace the input text string with the associated translated text string for the first locate identifier at the identified location within the app using the label identifier.

The CM computing device of claim 4, said processor further configured to transmit the configuration file to the developer computing device for storage within the developer computing device, wherein the configuration file is accessible by the user computing device when the app is configured on the user computing device.

7. The CM computing device of claim 1, said processor further configured to:

determine that the input text token is not associated with the plurality of entries; and

alert the developer computing device.

8. A computer-implemented method for identifying a translated text string, the method implemented by a conversion management (CM) computing device in communication with a memory, the method comprising:

receiving, from a developer computing device, a plurality of input locale identifiers and an input text string;

converting the input text string into an input text token;

comparing the plurality of input locale identifiers and the input text token to a localization table stored within the memory, the localization table including a plurality of entries, each entry including a stored text token, a stored locale identifier, and a translated text string; and

identifying a matching entry included within the localization table for each of the plurality of input locale identifiers, each matching entry includes a stored text token matching the input text token, a stored locale identifier matching one of the plurality of input locale identifiers, and an associated translated text string.

The computer-implemented method of claim 8 further comprising generating a setup profile associated with the developer computing device based on each of the matching entries, the setup profile including each locale identifier associated with each of the matching entries and the associated translated text string for each locale identifier.

10. The computer-implemented method of claim 9 further comprising:

receive a label identifier associated with the input text string, the label identifier identifying a location within an app where the input text string is located, wherein the setup profile further includes the label identifier for each input text string.

11. The computer-implemented method of claim 10 further comprising:

receiving, from at least one of the developer computing device and a user computing device, a request for the translated text strings included within the setup profile; and

generating a configuration file based on the setup profile, the configuration file including each locale identifier of the matching entries, the associated translated text strings for each locale identifier, and the label identifier.

12. The computer-implemented method of claim 11 further comprising:

transmitting the configuration file to the user computing device for storage within the user computing device, wherein selecting a first locale within the app by the user causes the user computing device to (i) identify a first locale identifier associated with the first locale included within the configuration file, and (ii) automatically replace the input text string with the associated translated text string for the first locate identifier at the identified location within the app using the label identifier.

The computer-implemented method of claim 11 further comprising transmitting the configuration file to the developer computing device for storage within the developer computing device, wherein the configuration file is accessible by the user computing device when the app is configured on the user computing device.

14. The computer-implemented method of claim 8 further comprising:

determining that the input text token is not associated with the plurality of entries; and

alert the developer computing device.

15. Computer-readable storage media for identifying a translated text string, the computer-readable storage media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon, wherein, when executed by at least one processor, the computer-executable instructions cause the processor to:

receive, from a developer computing device, a plurality of input locale identifiers and an input text string;

convert the input text string into an input text token;

compare the plurality of input locale identifiers and the input text token to a localization table stored within the memory, the localization table including a plurality of entries, each entry including a stored text token, a stored locale identifier, and a translated text string; and

identify a matching entry included within the localization table for each of the plurality of input locale identifiers, wherein each matching entry includes a stored text token matching the input text token, a stored locale identifier matching one of the plurality of input locale identifiers, and an associated translated text string.

16. The computer-readable storage media of claim 15, wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the processor to:

generate a setup profile associated with the developer computing device based on each of the matching entries, the setup profile including each locale identifier associated with each of the matching entries and the associated translated text string for each locale identifier.

17. The computer-readable storage media of claim 16, wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the processor to:

receive a label identifier associated with the input text string, the label identifier identifying a location within an app where the input text string is located, wherein the setup profile further includes the label identifier for each input text string.

18. The computer-readable storage media of claim 17, wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the processor to:

receive, from at least one of the developer computing device and a user computing device, a request for the translated text strings included within the setup profile; and

generate a configuration file based on the setup profile, the configuration file including each locale identifier of the matching entries, the associated translated text strings for each locale identifier, and the label identifier.

19. The computer-readable storage media of claim 18, wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the processor to:

transmit the configuration file to the user computing device for storage within the user computing device, wherein selecting a first locale within the app by the user causes the user computing device to (i) identify a first locale identifier associated with the first locale included within the configuration file, and (ii) automatically replace the input text string with the associated translated text string for the first locate identifier at the identified location within the app using the label identifier.

20. The computer-readable storage media of claim 18, wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the processor to:

transmit the configuration file to the developer computing device for storage within the developer computing device, wherein the configuration file is accessible by the user computing device when the app is configured on the user computing device.
