Abstract

Provided is a system for facilitating a transaction between at least one merchant and at least one consumer. The system includes at least one transaction portal located in a network environment, where the at least one transaction portal associated with at least one consumer affinity. The consumer affinity is an entity, a cause, an affiliation, an organization, a concept, a benefit, an association and/or a sponsor or any combination thereof. The system further includes a communication system for facilitating the transmission of data between the transaction portal, the at least one merchant, the at least one consumer, an entity associated with the consumer affinity or any combination thereof. Also provided is a matching system, a method for facilitating a transaction between at least one merchant and at least one consumer and a method for facilitating a credit-based transaction between at least one merchant and at least one consumer.

2. A system comprising:

a non-transitory memory storing instructions;

a processor configured to execute the instructions to cause the system to;

transmit, over a network connection, a communication to a device, the communication causing a presentation of a transaction portal associated with a consumer affinity entity on a display of the device, the consumer affinity entity presented based on a consumer preference indicated by a consumer;

receive, over the network connection, a request from the device to access products for sale by a merchant identified on the transactional portal;

transmit, over a network connection, a communication to the device, causing the presentation of the products for sale by the merchant on the display of the device, the merchant identified affiliated with the consumer affinity entity;

receive, over the network connection, a request to process a transaction for a purchase of one or more of the products for sale by the merchant; and

determine a benefit for the consumer affinity entity, the benefit determined in response to the request to process the transaction.

3. The system of claim 2, wherein the transactional portal is tailored based on consumer membership.

4. The system of claim 2, executing the instructions further causes the system to:

match at least one merchant to the consumer affinity entity using a merchant database,

wherein the at least one merchant includes the merchant affiliated with the consumer affinity entity.

5. The system of claim 2, wherein the merchant affiliated with the consumer affinity entity is identified based on a merchant business plan.

6. The system of claim 2, wherein the benefit for the consumer affinity entity is paid by the merchant.

7. The system of claim 2, wherein the consumer designates one or more consumer affinity entities for receipt of the benefit.

8. The system of claim 2, wherein the benefit includes a monetary percentage of a transaction amount.

9. A method comprising:

presenting, on a display of a device, a transaction portal associated with a consumer affinity entity;

accessing, via a user input on the display of the device, products for purchase from a merchant affiliated with the consumer affinity entity;

transmitting, over a network connection, a request to process a transaction for a purchase of one or more of the products for purchase from the merchant; and

presenting, on the display of the device, a notification indicating a benefit for the consumer affinity entity, the benefit presented determined in response to the transaction for purchase.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein the transactional portal is tailored based on consumer membership.

11. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

match at least one merchant to the consumer affinity entity using a merchant database, wherein the at least one merchant includes the merchant affiliated with the consumer affinity entity.

12. The method of claim 9, wherein the merchant affiliated with the consumer affinity entity is identified based on a merchant business plan.

13. The method of claim 9, wherein the benefit for the consumer affinity entity is paid by the merchant.

14. The method of claim 9, wherein a consumer can designate one or more consumer affinity entities for receipt of the benefit.

15. The method of claim 9, wherein the benefit includes a monetary percentage of a transaction amount.

16. A non-transitory machine-readable medium having instructions stored thereon, the instructions executable to cause performance of operations comprising:

presenting, on a display of a device, a transaction portal associated with a consumer affinity entity;

accessing, via a user input on the display of the device, products for purchase from a merchant affiliated with the consumer affinity entity;

transmitting, over a network connection, a request to process a transaction for a purchase of one or more of the products for purchase from the merchant; and

presenting, on the display of the device, a notification indicating a benefit for the consumer affinity entity, the benefit presented determined in response to the transaction for purchase.

17. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 16, wherein the transactional portal is tailored based on consumer membership.

18. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 16, further comprising:

match at least one merchant to the consumer affinity entity using a merchant database, wherein the at least one merchant includes the merchant affiliated with the consumer affinity entity.

19. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 16, wherein the merchant affiliated with the consumer affinity entity is identified based on a merchant business plan.

20. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 16, wherein the benefit for the consumer affinity entity is paid by the merchant.

21. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 16, wherein a consumer can designate one or more consumer affinity entities for receipt of the benefit.
