Abstract

A computing device including a screen; a memory configured to store an application for at least one of image acquisition, image uploading or image editing; and a processor configured to upload at least one of image or video file to a service center via a communication network, provide, in the screen, an option for allowing a first party or a first group to edit, view or download the uploaded image or video file, or append content to the uploaded image or video file based on the application stored in the memory, wherein the content corresponds to a text, titles or captions, and provide, in the screen, the option for allowing a second party or a second group to edit, view or download the uploaded image or video file, or append content to the uploaded image or video file based on the application stored in the memory, wherein the first party'"'"'s right level or the first group'"'"'s right level is different from the second party'"'"'s right level or the second group'"'"'s right level.

Claims

1. A computing device, the computing device comprising:

a screen;

a memory configured to store an application for at least one of image acquisition, image uploading or image editing; and

a processor configured to;

upload at least one of image or video file to a service center via a communication network,

provide, in the screen, an option for allowing a first party or a first group to edit, view or download the uploaded image or video file, or append content to the uploaded image or video file based on the application stored in the memory, wherein the content corresponds to a text, titles or captions, and

provide, in the screen, the option for allowing a second party or a second group to edit, view or download the uploaded image or video file, or append content to the uploaded image or video file based on the application stored in the memory, wherein the first party'"'"'s right level or the first group'"'"'s right level is different from the second party'"'"'s right level or the second group'"'"'s right level.

2. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the first party is different from the second party, and the first group is different from the second group.

3. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the processor is further configured to reallocate different rights to each of the first party, the second party, the first group or the second group if a different arrangement is required.

4. The computing device of claim 1, wherein right levels for each of the first party, the second party, the first group or the second group are selected automatically by a system during a setup procedure.

5. The computing device of claim 1, further comprising a digital camera for capturing the image.

6. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the first party, the second party, the first group or the second group is notified when the uploaded image or video file is available for viewing on-line.

7. The computing device of claim 6, wherein the first party, the second party, the first group or the second group is notified of a password in an e-mail notifying the first party, the second party, the first group or the second group that the uploaded image file or video file is available.

8. The computing device of claim 6, wherein the first party, the second party, the first group or the second group is notified by e-mail or text message when the uploaded image or video file is available for viewing on-line.

9. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the screen corresponds to a touch-sensitive screen.

10. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the computing device corresponds to a handheld computing device, a personal computer, a notebook or a laptop computer.

11. A method of processing data in a server processor, the method comprising:

receiving at least one of image or video file via a communication network from a client processor;

storing, in a memory, a first party'"'"'s right level or a first group'"'"'s right level to edit, view or download the received image or video file, or append content to the received image or video file, wherein the content corresponds to a text, titles or captions;

storing, in the memory, a second party'"'"'s right level or a second group'"'"'s right level to edit, view or download the received image or video file, or append content to the received image or video file;

allowing the first party or the first group to edit, view or download the received image or video file, or append content to the received image or video file based on the first party'"'"'s right level or the first group'"'"'s right level stored in the memory; and

allowing the second party or the second group to edit, view or download the received image or video file, or append content to the received image or video file based on the second party'"'"'s right level or the second group'"'"'s right level stored in the memory, wherein the first party'"'"'s right level or the first group'"'"'s right level is different from the second party'"'"'s right level or the second group'"'"'s right level.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein the client processor corresponds to a local computer while the server processor corresponds to a remote computer.

13. A computing device, the computing device comprising:

a screen;

a memory configured to store an application for at least one of image acquisition, image uploading or image editing; and

a processor configured to;

receive a notification message from an external device via a communication network, the notification message containing location information for accessing a specific image,

display the specific image on the screen by using the location information,

provide an image editing option on the screen, wherein the image editing option includes a selection function to determine a portion of the specific image to be edited by selecting at least one position of an expandable window on the displayed specific image, and

provide a right level option for allowing a specific party or a specific group to edit, view or download the edited image or append content to the edited image based on the application stored in the memory, wherein the content corresponds to a text, titles or captions.

14. The computing device of claim 13, wherein the location information indicates an internet-address of the specific image.

15. The computing device of claim 13, wherein the processor is further configured to control the memory to store the displayed specific image before providing the image editing option.

16. The computing device of claim 13, wherein the notification message is displayed by using an e-mail application stored in the memory of the computing device.

17. The computing device of claim 13, wherein the processor is further configured to transmit another notification message to another external device being different from the external device via the communication network, wherein said another notification message includes a URL that allows the another external device to display the edited image using a web browser.

18. The computing device of claim 13, wherein the communication network corresponds to an internet, local-area network, wide-area network, telephone network, satellite link, cable link, fiber optic link, radio-frequency link or infrared link.

19. The computing device of claim 13, wherein the computing device corresponds to a handheld computing device, a personal computer, a notebook or a laptop computer.

20. The computing device of claim 13, wherein the computing device supports a removable media, further the removable media corresponds to a memory card or a floppy diskette.
