Abstract

An anti-counterfeiting method, system, and non-transitory computer readable medium an anti-counterfeiting system, include a production circuit configured to produce a Directed Self-Assembly (DSA) pattern including a unique pattern, an analysis circuit configured to analyze the unique pattern, an embedding circuit configured to embed the unique pattern on a document, and a verification circuit configured to verify that the unique pattern embedded on the document corresponds to the document.

Claims

1. An anti-counterfeiting system, comprising:

a production circuit configured to produce a Directed Self-Assembly (DSA) pattern including a unique pattern;

an analysis circuit configured to analyze the unique pattern;

an embedding circuit configured to embed the unique pattern on a document; and

a verification circuit configured to verify that the unique pattern embedded on the document corresponds to the document.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the analysis circuit stores a unique identifier for the unique pattern based on the document in a database, and

wherein the verification circuit verifies that the unique pattern corresponds to the document based on the unique identifier stored in the database.

3. The system of claim 1, further comprising a transfer circuit configured to transfer the unique pattern onto a strip,

wherein the embedding circuit embeds the strip including the unique pattern on the document.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the embedding circuit embeds the unique pattern onto fibers of the document.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the verification circuit is further configured to learn errors between a current unique pattern and an original unique pattern such that the verification circuit verifies the unique pattern corresponds to the document with errors in the current unique pattern.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein a feature width of the unique pattern is in a range of 1 nm to 200 nm

7. The system of claim 6, wherein a feature width of the unique pattern is in a range of 10 nm to 50 nm

8. The system of claim 3, wherein the embedding circuit embeds the unique pattern onto fibers of the document.

9. The system of claim 3, wherein the unique pattern covers an entirety of the strip, and

wherein the analysis circuit analyzes a portion of the unique pattern covering the entirety of the strip and stores a unique identifier associated with the portion of the unique pattern in a database.

10. The system of claim 3, wherein the unique pattern covers an entirety of the strip, and

wherein the analysis circuit analyzes an entirety of the unique pattern covering the entirety of the strip and stores a unique identifier associated with the entirety of the unique pattern in a database.

11. The system of claim 3, wherein the analysis circuit analyzes the unique pattern after the strip including the unique pattern is embedded onto the document.

12. The system of claim 4, wherein the unique pattern covers an entirety of the document, and

wherein the analysis circuit analyzes a portion of the unique pattern embedded in the fibers covering the entirety of the document and stores a unique identifier associated with the portion of the unique pattern in a database.

13. The system of claim 4, wherein the unique pattern covers an entirety of the document, and

wherein the analysis circuit analyzes an entirety of the unique pattern embedded in the fibers covering the entirety of the document and stores a unique identifier associated with the entirety of the unique pattern in a database.

14. The system of claim 4, wherein the analysis circuit analyzes a portion of the fibers including the unique pattern.

15. A document, comprising:

a Directed Self-Assembly (DSA) pattern including a unique pattern embedded on the document.

16. The document of claim 15, further comprising a strip embedded on the document,

wherein the unique pattern is transferred onto the strip.

17. The document of claim 15, wherein the unique pattern is embedded into fibers of the document.

18. The document of claim 15, wherein a feature width of the unique pattern is in a range of 1 nm to 200 nm.

19. An anti-counterfeiting method, comprising:

producing a Directed Self-Assembly (DSA) pattern including a unique pattern;

analyzing the unique pattern;

embedding the unique pattern on a document; and

verifying that the unique pattern embedded on the document corresponds to the document.

20. A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium recording for anti-counterfeiting performing the method of claim 19.
