Abstract

Provided is a terminal that performs communication with a base station, in which a Physical Uplink Control Channel is generated by mapping response information to a Physical Uplink Control Channel resource that is determined in accordance with at least a prescribed offset and generates a Physical Uplink Control Channel, in a case where a Physical Downlink Control Channel is detected in a first Enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel-Physical Resource Block set, and in which a Physical Uplink Control Channel is generated by mapping the response information to a Physical Uplink Control Channel resource that is determined in accordance with at least an offset which is configured individually for every terminal and generates the Physical Uplink Control Channel, in a case where the Physical Downlink Control Channel is detected in a second Enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel-Physical Resource Block set.

Claims

1. A user equipment (UE) which communicates with a base station in a cell, the UE comprising:

reception circuitry configured to receive a first demodulation reference signal; and

extract circuitry configured to monitor a first physical control channel;

wherein

the first demodulation reference signal and the first physical control channel are transmitted on a same antenna port(s), and

in a mapping of the first control channel, resource elements are counted under an assumption that channel state information reference signal is not present.

2. The UE of claim 1, wherein

the reception circuitry is further configured to receive a cell-specific reference signal and a second demodulation reference signal,

the extract circuitry is further configured to monitor a second physical control channel,

the second demodulation reference signal and the second physical control channel are transmitted on a same antenna port(s),

the first physical control channel is a physical control channel with CRC scrambled by P-RNTI which is an identity for paging,

the second physical control channel is a physical control channel with CRC scrambled by C-RNTI which is an identity specific to the UE,

the first demodulation reference signal is generated using a sequence which is initialized based on a cell identity of the cell, and

the second demodulation reference signal is generated using a sequence which is initialized based on a value configured via dedicated RRC signalling.

3. The UE of claim 1, wherein

the first physical control channel is a physical control channel which is allocated in common search space.

4. A base station which communicates with a user equipment (UE) in a cell, the base station comprising:

transmission circuitry configured to transmit a first demodulation reference signal; and

generation circuitry configured to generate a first physical control channel;

wherein

the first demodulation reference signal and the first physical control channel are transmitted on a same antenna port(s), and

in a mapping of the first control channel, resource elements are counted under an assumption that channel state information reference signal is not present.

5. The base station of claim 4, wherein

The transmission circuitry is further configured to transmit a cell-specific reference signal and a second demodulation reference signal,

the generation circuitry is further configured to generate a second physical control channel,

the second demodulation reference signal and the second physical control channel are transmitted on a same antenna port(s),

the first physical control channel is a physical control channel with CRC scrambled by P-RNTI which is an identity for paging,

the second physical control channel is a physical control channel with CRC scrambled by C-RNTI which is an identity specific to the UE,

the first demodulation reference signal is generated using a sequence which is initialized based on a cell identity of the cell, and

the second demodulation reference signal is generated using a sequence which is initialized based on a value configured via dedicated RRC signalling.

6. The base station of claim 4, wherein

the first physical control channel is a physical control channel which is allocated in common search space.

7. A method for a user equipment (UE) which communicates with a base station in a cell, the method comprising:

receiving a first demodulation reference signal; and

monitoring a first physical control channel;

wherein

the first demodulation reference signal and the first physical control channel are transmitted on a same antenna port(s), and

in a mapping of the first physical control channel, resource elements are counted under an assumption that channel state information reference signal is not present.

8. A method for a base station which communicates with a user equipment (UE) in a cell, the method comprising:

transmitting a first demodulation reference signal; and

generating a first physical control channel;

wherein

the first demodulation reference signal and the first physical control channel are transmitted on a same antenna port(s), and

in a mapping of the first control channel, resource elements are counted under an assumption that channel state information reference signal is not present.
