1. A vehicle control system comprising:
- an imaging device configured to image surroundings of a vehicle;
an imaging assist section configured to assist in capturing an image by the imaging device so as to increase the clarity of the image captured by the imaging device;
a recognition controller configured to recognize surrounding conditions of the vehicle based on the image captured by the imaging device;
an automated driving controller configured to execute automated driving in which at least one out of speed control or steering control is controlled automatically based on the surrounding conditions of the vehicle recognized by the recognition controller; and
an assist controller configured to adjust an operation of the imaging assist section when the automated driving is being implemented by the automated driving controller.

13. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a vehicle control program for causing an on-board computer to execute processing, the processing comprising:

recognizing surrounding conditions of a vehicle based on an image captured by an imaging device mounted to the vehicle and configured to image surroundings of the vehicle; executing automated driving in which at least one out of speed control or steering control is controlled automatically based on the recognized surrounding conditions of the vehicle; and when the automated driving is being implemented, adjusting an operation of an imaging assist section to assist in capturing the image by the imaging device so as to increase the clarity of the imaged captured by the imaging device.
