Abstract

A system and method which includes hardware and software is disclosed which may enable secure transactions from a vehicle.

Claims

1. A computer implemented method of linking a vehicle to a payment service comprising:

executing an integrated service application on a processor;

in the integrated service application,

receiving an intent to make a purchase;

communicating a message to the aggregator service requesting a payment credential;

in the aggregator service;

prompting for consumer authentication of payment;

receiving from the consumer an authentication indication;

authenticating the authentication indication;

selecting the payment credential; and

authorizing the payment.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the aggregator service communicates with an aggregator platform for retrieval of the payment credentials.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the aggregator platform is remote from the vehicle.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the aggregator service platform requests for payment comprises communicating a request to a payment/wallet application including passing an auth token and payment parameters.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the payment/wallet application compiles payment request.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the payment/wallet application responds providing the payment information &

Call ID.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the aggregator service platform communicates the encrypted payment credentials to the integrated service provider platform.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein the aggregator service platform responds to the connected service front end indicating that it has successfully acquired payment credentials.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the aggregator service front end communicates to the integrated service application indicating successful completion of acquiring payment credentials and passing unique transaction parameters &

Call ID.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein the integrated service app communicates with the integrated service platform to process the transaction.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein the integrated service platform in response to not receiving payment credential from the integrated service application, communicates/calls to the wallet platform to receive the payment credentials using the unique transaction parameters received from the wallet app.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein the wallet platform passes/communicates the encrypted payment credentials to the integrated service platform.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein the integrated service platform decrypts the payment credentials using their merchant specific keys.

14. The method of claim 12, wherein the integrated service platform passes the PAN or token &

crypto payment parameters to their acquirer for authorization of the transaction.

15. The method of claim 12, wherein the acquirer passes the payment authorization request to the network.

16. The method of claim 15, wherein the network will detokenize the transaction, if applicable, and pass the payment authorization request to the issuer for authorization approval.

17. The method of claim 12, wherein the issuer confirms the authorization of the transaction and passes their response to the network.

18. The method of claim 12, wherein the network passes the auth response to the acquirer.

19. The method of claim 12, wherein the acquirer passes the authorization response to the Integrated Service platform.

20. The method of claim 19, wherein the integrated service platform notifies the application that the transaction was successful.
