REMOTE BATTERY MONITOR
First Claim
Patent Images
1. A remote battery monitor for monitoring a battery, comprising:
- a memory;
a transceiver;
a current sensing element;
at least one sensor; and
a controller coupled to the memory, the transceiver, the current sensing element, and the at least one sensor, where the current sensing element is able to measure current going into or out of the battery that can switch out a load and in a predetermined resistance in response to the controller without changing a voltage prior to the load and where battery data generated by the current sensing element and the at least one sensor is formatted for transmission by the transceiver.

10. A method of remote battery monitoring of a battery, comprising:
-
measuring a current flowing into and out of the battery with a current sensing element resulting in current data, where a switch switches from a load to a predetermined resistance without changing a voltage prior to the load in response to the controller to generate the current; generating sensor data with at least one sensor; storing the sensor data and current data as battery data in a memory; and transmitting the battery data with the transceiver in response to the controller formatted for reception by a server. - View Dependent Claims (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16)
