Abstract

A power storage device with high capacity is provided. Alternatively, a power storage device with high energy density is provided. Alternatively, a highly reliable power storage device is provided. Alternatively, a long-life power storage device is provided.

A power storage device is characterized by comprising a separator, a first electrode, a second electrode, an electrolytic solution, in which the separator is provided between the first electrode and the second electrode, the first electrode includes an active material layer and a current collector, the first electrode includes a pair of coating films between which the current collector is sandwiched, the active material layer includes a region in contact with the current collector, the active material layer includes a region in contact with at least one of the pair of coating films, and the electrolytic solution includes an alkali metal salt and an ionic liquid.

12. A power storage device comprising:

a positive electrode;

a separator;

a negative electrode; and

an electrolytic solution,

wherein the separator is provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode,

wherein the positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material layer and a positive electrode current collector,

wherein the negative electrode includes a negative electrode current collector, a first negative electrode active material layer facing the positive electrode active material layer with the separator sandwiched therebetween, a second negative electrode active material layer facing the first negative electrode active material layer with the negative electrode current collector sandwiched therebetween, a first coating film in contact with the first negative electrode active material layer, and a second coating film in contact with the second negative electrode active material layer, and

wherein the electrolytic solution includes an alkali metal salt and an ionic liquid.

13. The power storage device according to claim 12,

wherein the first coating film includes at least one of an element included in the first negative electrode active material layer and an element included in the electrolytic solution, and

wherein the second coating film includes at least one of an element included in the second negative electrode active material layer and an element included in the electrolytic solution.

14. The power storage device according to claim 12,

wherein the ionic liquid includes a cation containing a heteroaromatic ring.

15. The power storage device according to claim 12,

wherein the ionic liquid includes an imidazolium cation.

16. The power storage device according to claim 12,

wherein the ionic liquid includes a butylmethylimidazolium cation.

17. The power storage device according to claim 12,

wherein the power storage device operates within at least one of a temperature range of −

25°

C. to 10°

C. and a temperature range of 40°

C. to 100°

C.

18. An electronic device comprising the power storage device according to claim 12.

19. A power storage device comprising:

a positive electrode;

a separator;

a negative electrode; and

an electrolytic solution,

wherein the separator is provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode,

wherein the positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material layer and a positive electrode current collector,

wherein the negative electrode includes a negative electrode current collector, a first negative electrode active material layer facing the positive electrode active material layer with the separator sandwiched therebetween, a second negative electrode active material layer facing the first negative electrode active material layer with the negative electrode current collector sandwiched therebetween, a first coating film in contact with the first negative electrode active material layer, and a second coating film in contact with the second negative electrode active material layer,

wherein the electrolytic solution includes an alkali metal salt and an ionic liquid, and

wherein the positive electrode overlaps with the negative electrode, and an end portion of the negative electrode is aligned with or located inward from an end portion of the positive electrode.

20. The power storage device according to claim 19,

wherein the first coating film includes at least one of an element included in the first negative electrode active material layer and an element included in the electrolytic solution, and

wherein the second coating film includes at least one of an element included in the second negative electrode active material layer and an element included in the electrolytic solution.

21. The power storage device according to claim 19,

wherein the ionic liquid includes a cation containing a heteroaromatic ring.

22. The power storage device according to claim 19,

wherein the ionic liquid includes an imidazolium cation.

23. The power storage device according to claim 19,

wherein the ionic liquid includes a butylmethylimidazolium cation.

24. The power storage device according to claim 19,

wherein the power storage device operates within at least one of a temperature range of −

25°

C. to 10°

C. and a temperature range of 40°

C. to 100°

C.

25. An electronic device comprising the power storage device according to claim 19.

26. A power storage device comprising:

a separator;

a first electrode;

a second electrode; and

an electrolytic solution,

wherein the separator is provided between the first electrode and the second electrode,

wherein the first electrode includes an active material layer and a current collector,

wherein the first electrode includes a pair of coating films between which the current collector is sandwiched,

wherein the active material layer includes a region in contact with the current collector,

wherein the active material layer includes a region in contact with at least one of the pair of coating films, and

wherein the electrolytic solution includes an alkali metal salt and an ionic liquid.

27. The power storage device according to claim 26,

wherein the pair of coating films includes at least one of an element included in the active material layer and an element included in the electrolytic solution.

28. The power storage device according to claim 26,

wherein the ionic liquid includes a cation containing a heteroaromatic ring.

29. The power storage device according to claim 26,

wherein the ionic liquid includes an imidazolium cation.

30. The power storage device according to claim 26,

wherein the ionic liquid includes a butylmethylimidazolium cation.

31. The power storage device according to claim 26,

wherein the power storage device operates within at least one of a temperature range of −

25°

C. to 10°

C. and a temperature range of 40°

C. to 100°

C.

32. An electronic device comprising the power storage device according to claim 26.

33. A power storage device comprising:

a separator;

a first electrode;

a second electrode; and

an electrolytic solution,

wherein the separator is provided between the first electrode and the second electrode,

wherein the first electrode includes an active material layer and a current collector,

wherein the first electrode includes a pair of coating films between which the current collector is sandwiched,

wherein the active material layer includes a region in contact with the current collector,

wherein the active material layer includes a region in contact with at least one of the pair of coating films,

wherein the electrolytic solution includes an alkali metal salt and an ionic liquid, and

wherein the second electrode overlaps with the first electrode, and an end portion of the first electrode is aligned with or located inward from an end portion of the second electrode.

34. The power storage device according to claim 33,

wherein the pair of coating films includes at least one of an element included in the active material layer and an element included in the electrolytic solution.

35. The power storage device according to claim 33,

wherein the ionic liquid includes a cation containing a heteroaromatic ring.

36. The power storage device according to claim 33,

wherein the ionic liquid includes an imidazolium cation.

37. The power storage device according to claim 33,

wherein the ionic liquid includes a butylmethylimidazolium cation.
