Abstract

An image display device, a method for driving the same, and a computer readable recording medium are provided. The image display device includes a speech acquirer configured to acquire a speech query associated with a query created by a user, a display configured to display a query list composed of candidate queries having the same as or similar semantic as the acquired speech query, and an operation performer configured to perform an operation related to the query selected from the displayed query list.

Claims

1. An image display device comprising:

a speech acquirer configured to acquire a speech query associated with a query uttered by a user;

a display configured to display a query list composed of candidate queries having the same or similar semantic as the acquired speech query; and

an operation performer configured to perform an operation related to the query selected from the displayed query list.

2. The image display device of claim 1, further comprising:

a storage configured to store candidate query information for the user'"'"'s speech query; and

a user interface (UI) screen generator configured to generate a query list including the stored candidate query information,

wherein the UI screen generator outputs the generated query list to the display.

3. The image display device of claim 2, wherein the stored candidate query information is changed based on at least one of user situation information, a user profile, and a past service usage pattern.

4. The image display device of claim 1, further comprising:

a speech recognizer configured to recognize the acquired speech query,

wherein the query list provides candidate queries generated based on a semantic of the result of the recognition.

5. The image display device of claim 1, further comprising:

a communication interface configured to receive the result of recognizing the acquired speech query from an external device,

wherein the query list provides candidate queries generated based on a semantic of the received result of the recognition.

6. The image display device of claim 1, further comprising:

a semantic information generator configured to generate semantic information related to a semantic of the acquired speech query,

wherein the query list is composed of candidate queries having the same semantic information.

7. The image display device of claim 6,

wherein the semantic information generator comprises:

a word separator configured to separate the query having a form of a sentence into words;

a part of speech tagger configured to tag parts of speech of the separated words; and

an index generator configured to;

classify the words based on predetermined parts of speech, and

generate index information associated with the classified words based on the parts of speech, and

wherein the candidate queries are searched using the index information including the same semantic information.

8. The image display device of claim 7, wherein the semantic information is generated based on the classified words based on the predetermined parts of the speech.

9. The image display device of claim 1, wherein the operation performer is further configured to perform an operation to provide search information or answer information associated with the selected query.

10. A method for driving an image display device, the method comprising:

acquiring a speech query associated with a query uttered by a user;

displaying a query list composed of candidate queries having the same or similar semantic as a semantic of the acquired speech query; and

performing an operation related to the query selected from the displayed query list.

11. The method of claim 10, further comprising:

storing candidate query information associated with the user'"'"'s speech query;

generating a query list including the stored candidate query information; and

providing the generated query list to display the generated query list.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein the stored candidate query information is changed based on at least one of user situation information, a user profile, and a past service usage pattern.

13. The method of claim 10, further comprising:

recognizing the acquired speech query,

wherein the query list provides candidate queries generated based on a semantic of the result of the recognition.

14. The method of claim 10, further comprising:

receiving the result of recognizing the acquired speech query from an external device,

wherein the query list provides candidate queries generated based on a semantic of the received result of the recognition.

15. The method of claim 10, further comprising:

generating semantic information related to a semantic of the acquired speech query,

wherein the query list is composed of candidate queries having same semantic information.

16. The method of claim 15,

wherein the generating of the semantic information comprises:

separating the query having a form of a sentence into words;

tagging parts of speech of the separated words;

classifying the words based on predetermined parts of speech; and

generating index information associated with the classified words based on the parts of speech, and

wherein the candidate queries are searched using the index information including same semantic information.

17. The method of claim 16, wherein the semantic information is generated based on the classified words based on the predetermined parts of the speech.

18. The method of claim 10, wherein the performing of the operation comprises performing an operation to provide search information or answer information associated with the selected query.

19. A non-transitory computer readable recording medium including a program for executing a method for driving an image display device, wherein the method for driving an image display device comprises:

acquiring a speech query associated with a query uttered by a user;

generating a query list composed of candidate queries having the same or similar semantic as a semantic of the acquired speech query; and

providing search information or answer information related to the query selected from the query list.

20. The non-transitory computer readable recording medium of claim 19, wherein the candidate query included in the list is changed based on at least one of user situation information, a user profile, and a past service usage pattern.
