Abstract

This system for detecting the surrounding conditions of a moving body forcibly changes the state of at least one of a plurality of lighting devices (change from an unlit state to a lighting state or a blinking state, change in the emission color, or change in the luminance) installed inside the moving body, if an object to which attention must be paid during traveling of the moving body is detected in the surroundings of the moving body.

Claims

1. A detecting system detecting a surrounding condition of a vehicle, the detecting system comprising:

a camera generating an image data and attachable to the vehicle;

an image recognition processor performing an image recognition process on the image data so as to detect at least a color in the image data; and

a controller providing a signal to an illumination device at a cabin of the vehicle in accordance with a result of the image recognition process.

2. The detecting system according to claim 1, wherein the camera is attachable to a front portion of the vehicle.

3. The detecting system according to claim 1, wherein the image recognition processor detects at least red color.

4. The detecting system according to claim 3, wherein the image recognition processor detects a status of an object which is forward of the vehicle in accordance with the at least the color.

5. The detecting system according to claim 4, wherein the object comprises a rear lamp of a forward vehicle positioned in front of the vehicle.

6. The detecting system according to claim 5, wherein the rear lamp comprises a stop lamp.

7. The detecting system according to claim 5, wherein the image recognition processor detects a distance between the vehicle and the forward vehicle.

8. The detecting system according to claim 5, wherein the image recognition processor detects a relative speed between the vehicle and the forward vehicle.

9. The detecting system according to claim 5, wherein the controller changes the color of the illumination device in accordance with the color of the rear lump.

10. The detecting system according to claim 3, wherein the image recognition processor detects a color of a traffic light.

11. The detecting system according to claim 10, wherein the controller changes the color of the illumination device in accordance with the color of the traffic light.

12. The detecting system according to claim 7, wherein the controller changes the color of the illumination device in accordance with the distance.

13. The detecting system according to claim 7, wherein the controller changes the color of the illumination device in accordance with the relative speed.

14. A detecting device attachable for a vehicle comprising:

a camera generating an image data, the image data comprising an object located proximal to the vehicle;

an image recognition processor performing an image recognition process on the image data so as to detect at least color in the image data; and

a controller providing a signal to an illumination device at a cabin of the vehicle in accordance with a result of the image recognition process.

15. The detecting device according to claim 14, wherein the camera is attachable to a front portion of the vehicle.

16. The detecting device according to claim 15, wherein the image recognition processor detects a color of a rear lamp of a forward vehicle positioned in front of the vehicle.

17. The detecting device according to claim 15, wherein the image recognition processor detects a color of a traffic light.

18. A vehicle comprising,

a camera generating an image data, the image data comprising an object located proximal to the vehicle;

an image recognition processor performing an image recognition process on the image data so as to detect at least color in the image data; and

a controller providing a signal to an illumination device at a cabin of the vehicle in accordance with a result of the image recognition process.

19. The vehicle according to claim 18,

wherein the camera is positioned at a front portion of the vehicle, and

wherein the image recognition processor detects a color of a rear lamp of a forward vehicle positioned in front of the vehicle.

20. The vehicle according to claim 19,

wherein the camera is positioned at a front portion of the vehicle, and

wherein the image recognition processor detects a color of a traffic light.
