Abstract

The present invention is a method and system of determining and collecting data such as, location, weather, temperature, and time to users of a mobile devices. Mobile devices such as smart phones, tablets, Internet computers, and other hand held mobile devices may be ideal for tracking harmful environmental conditions. The affiliations are determined based upon location of mobile devices as tracked by Internet services and activation of the system by the user. The system may even be enhanced by use of features tailored by the user.

Claims

1. A system for alerting a mobile device user when dangerous conditions threaten the occupants of a vehicle comprising:

(a) a central unit;

wherein said central unit is mounted in the front section of a vehicle;

(b) an activation unit;

wherein said activation unit mounts under vehicle seats;

(c) seat pressure sensors;

wherein seat pressure sensors mount to each seat in said vehicle;

(d) interior temperature sensors;

wherein temperature sensors mount to various locations throughout the cabin of said vehicle.

2. The system according to claim 1;

wherein the central unit further comprises a means of communicating to a mobile device user.

3. The system according to claim 2;

wherein the central unit transmits signals to the activation unit through Bluetooth technology or similar means.

4. The system according to claim 2;

wherein the central unit transmits data to both the user and said activation unit.

5. The system according to claim 2;

wherein the central unit acts as a control unit for the system'"'"'s installed hardware.

6. The system according to claim 1;

wherein the activation unit further comprises hardware that mounts to a secluded location preferably in the rear compartment of said vehicle.

7. The system according to claim 6;

wherein the activation unit further comprises at least two mounting prongs that extend from the top section of said activation unit.

8. The system according to claim 1;

wherein the seat pressure sensors further comprises hardware that allows the sensors to be installed to said vehicle seats.

9. The system according to claim 8;

wherein the seat pressure sensors further transmit data to the activation unit.

10. The system according to claim 1;

wherein the interior temperature sensors further comprises hardware that allows the temperature sensors to be mounted inside the cabin of said vehicle.

11. The system according to claim 10;

wherein the interior temperature sensors further can be configured to detect movement.

13. The process for alerting a mobile device user when a vehicle occupant is in harm due to dangerous temperature conditions according to claim 11;

wherein step (a) further

comprises hardware that connects the tail unit to existing seat sensors.

14. The process for alerting a mobile device user when a vehicle occupant is in harm due to dangerous temperature conditions according to claim 11;

wherein in step (b) further comprises hardware for the sensors to be strategically mounted throughout the cabin of the vehicle.

15. The process for alerting a mobile device user when a vehicle occupant is in harm due to dangerous temperature conditions according to claim 11;

wherein in step (c) the interior sensors will transmit collected temperature data to the central unit.

16. The process for alerting a mobile device user when a vehicle occupant is in harm due to dangerous temperature conditions according to claim 11;

wherein in step (d) the seat sensors can be either hardwired or wirelessly connected to the rear tail unit.

17. The process for alerting a mobile device user when a vehicle occupant is in harm due to dangerous temperature conditions according to claim 11;

wherein in step (e) the data signal may be stored in a Cloud Software Server.

18. The process for alerting a mobile device user when a vehicle occupant is in harm due to dangerous temperature conditions according to claim 11;

wherein in step (f) the data submitted to the said recipients will include critical data such as location and current temperature.

19. The process for alerting a mobile device user when a vehicle occupant is in harm due to dangerous temperature conditions according to claim 17;

wherein in step (f) the data will be displayed through the Sol software app on the user'"'"'s mobile device;

said software app will allow the user to over-ride the system in the event of a mistake;

the software system will allow a loud audible alert despite the mobile device being in silent mode.

20. The process for alerting a mobile device user when a vehicle occupant is in harm due to dangerous temperature conditions according to claim 11;

wherein in step (h) the Sol software system may transmit a wireless signal to the central unit to initiate a number of automated functions such as the vehicle windows to allow external air to circulate within the vehicle.

12. A process for alerting a mobile device user when a vehicle occupant is in harm due to dangerous temperature conditions;

comprising the steps of;

(a) determining the presence of an occupant after the driver has moved from the driver'"'"'s seat by use of said seat pressure sensor;

(b) activating the interior sensors upon driver'"'"'s absence;

(c) detecting the temperature variance of the interior of vehicle by utilizing said interior sensors;

(d) the seat sensors will immediately transmit a signal to the rear tail unit that an occupant is present in the seat;

(e) after 5 minutes have elapsed the rear tail unit will transmit a data signal via Bluetooth to the central unit;

(f) upon receiving the data, the central unit transmits a message to the mobile device user and other designated recipients that an occupant is in dangerous conditions within the vehicle;

(g) the mobile device will simultaneously activate an audible alert and the Sol software system;

(h) the Sol software will automatically roll down windows and set off the vehicles harm.
