Abstract

Disclosed herein is a method of transmitting a reference signal for channel state change measurement and an apparatus therefor. The method includes receiving, from a transmitter, a first type reference signal of a first resource mapping pattern and a second type reference signal of a second resource mapping pattern. The receiver receives the first type reference signal under an assumption that the first type reference signal is associated with the second type reference signal, when a specific condition is satisfied.

Claims

1. A method for receiving reference signals by a user equipment (UE) in wireless communication, the method comprising:

receiving, from a base station (BS), a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) based on a first sequence; and

receiving, from the BS, a Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS) based on a second sequence,

wherein elements of the second sequence are generated based on a part of elements of the first sequence, and

wherein the part of the elements of the first sequence is determined based on a specific interval.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the PTRS is mapped to a symbol for data.

3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the PTRS is mapped at equal intervals within resource blocks for the symbol.

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the second sequence is generated for a subcarrier.

5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the PTRS is received when information for informing present of the PTRS.

6. The method according to claim 1, wherein the PTRS is received via a resource element not used for the DMRS.

7. An apparatus for receiving reference signals in wireless communication, the apparatus comprising:

a memory; and

at least one processor coupled to the memory and configured to;

receive a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) based on a first sequence; and

receive a Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS) based on a second sequence,

wherein elements of the second sequence are generated based on a part of elements of the first sequence, and

wherein the part of the elements of the first sequence is determined based on a specific interval.

8. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the PTRS is mapped to a symbol for data.

9. The apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the PTRS is mapped at equal intervals within resource blocks for the symbol.

10. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the second sequence is generated for a subcarrier.

11. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the PTRS is received when information for informing present of the PTRS.

12. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the PTRS is received via a resource element not used for the DMRS.

13. A method for transmitting reference signal by a base station (BS) in wireless communication, the method comprising:

transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) based on a first sequence; and

transmitting, to the UE, a Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS) based on a second sequence,

wherein elements of the second sequence are generated based on a part of elements of the first sequence, and

wherein the part of the elements of the first sequence is determined based on a specific interval.
