1. A method of making a toy ball, comprising:

  • providing a mold having a cavity the shape of the ball to be produced, the mold having a centerline,employing resilient means to resiliently suspend a noisemaker along the centerline of the mold cavity so that the center of the noisemaker substantially coincides with the midpoint of the mold cavity centerline,filling the mold cavity with a quantity of foamable plastic, and expanding said foamable plastic so that it completely surrounds the noisemaker and resilient suspension means, to produce the body of the ball, with the noisemaker embedded within the ball body at the center of said ball, the resilient means having no influence on the noisemaker after the body of the ball is produced.
