A heat roller for use in a fixing device, comprising a heating portion and shaft portions projecting respectively from both ends of said heating portion, wherein said heating portion and said shaft portions are integrally molded from the same material in the form of a molded member at least both end portions of which are hollow, and coiled conducting terminals are closely fitted into said end portions, respectively.

Abstract
The invention relates to a technique which enables good electric contact to be surely made between a heat roller and conducting terminals serving as feed means. The heat roller comprises a heating portion and shaft portions which are integrally molded from the same material in the form of a molded member at least both end portions of which are hollow. The conducting terminals are capable of elastically expanding and contracting in the radial direction and are closely fitted into the hollow portions at both ends of the molded member.
