1. In an interactive system:

  • a computer having a video output display and first and second audio output channels,a program source containing information which is processed by the computer to provide a visual presentation on the display and audio signals in the audio output channels,at least one input device connected to the computer for controlling the manner in which the program information is processed and the audio signals are delivered to the audio output channels,a speaker connected to the computer for reproducing sounds represented by the audio signals in the first audio output channel, andan animated doll having a speaker disposed therein for reproducing audio sounds represented by the audio signals in the second audio output channel, an articulated element, and a transducer connected to the articulated element for moving that element in response to the audio signals in the second audio output channel.
