1. A process for the preparation of a pyrotechnical, aerosol-forming composition for extinguishing fires, comprising the steps of mixing powdery combustible binder, which is a polycondensate of formaldehyde and an organic compound, of a fraction from 70 to 120 μ

    m and dicyandiamide of a fraction from 40 to 80 μ

    m, subsequently adding respective fractions of said ingredients of 10 to 25 μ
