1. A vapor-permeable shoe comprising:

  • a vapor-permeable upper portion having a vapor-permeable or perforated lining;

    a tread sole made of perforated elastomer;

    a mid-sole comprising at least one membrane and a lower protective layer, said at least one membrane being made of waterproof and vapor-permeable materials, said lower protective layer being made of at least one of a hydrolysis resistant material, a water-repellent, a vapor-permeable material and a perforated material;

    a vapor-permeable or perforated insole; and

    a vapor-permeable or perforated filler layer attached to said at least one membrane and said lower protective layer, wherein said at least one membrane, together with said lower protective layer, is disposed in a preassembled insert, to which it is sealed at its perimetric regions, and which has said lower protective layer disposed at a lowermost face of said insert, said insert being suitable to form a support for said at least one membrane both during assembly and during use.
