1. A process for preparing a polyimide film by extruding and casting a composition of a resin solution containing a poly(amic acid) varnish, comprising:

  • preparing the poly(amic acid) varnish having low viscosity by polymerizing a tetracarboxylic dianhydride component with a diamine component in a molar ratio of 1;

    1.01 to 1;

    1.05 or 1;

    0.95 to 1;

    0.99, and preparing the composition of the resin solution by adding to the poly(amic acid) varnish a dehydrating agent in an amount of at least one mole and a chemically-imidizing catalyst in an amount of at least 0.5 mole per 1 mole of amic acid of the poly(amic acid) varnish.
