1. A method for determining the level of an analyte in the blood of an individual, comprising the steps of:

  • (i) measuring the level of said analyte in an interstitial fluid or in any other non blood fluid obtained non-invasively from the skin of a tested individual, wherein said interstitial fluid or any other non blood fluid does not contain red blood cells, and(ii) adjusting the measurement value by the concentration of at least one reference analyte measured in said interstitial fluid or in said any other non blood fluid of step (i), thereby determining the level of said analyte.
