Abstract

Disclosed is a support for a lithographic printing plate, wherein an adhering amount of a rare-earth element atom to a surface thereof is 0.1 to 20 mg/mg², and a presensitized plate provided with an image recording layer on the support for a lithographic printing plate. The presensitized plate achieving both high scum resistance and long press life can be realized, which is the same in the case the image recording layer containing an infrared absorbent, where scum would easily occur, is provided onto the support.

Claims

1. A presensitized plate provided with an image recording layer on a support for a lithographic printing plate,

wherein an adhering amount of a rare-earth element atom to a surface of the support is 0.1 to 20 mg/m², and

the image recording layer is an image recording layer containing an infrared absorbent.

2. The presensitized plate according to claim 1, wherein the support is obtainable by sequentially performing a hydrophilic treatment and a treatment with a liquid containing a rare-earth element ion on an aluminum plate after at least an anodizing treatment is performed thereon.

3. The presensitized plate according to claim 2, wherein the hydrophilic treatment is a treatment with an alkali metal silicate aqueous solution.

7. A presensitized plate according to claim 1, wherein there is provided an intermediate layer containing a high-molecular compound having a constituent with an acid group and a constituent with an onium group between the support and the image recording layer.

8. A presensitized plate according to claim 7, wherein the support is obtainable by sequentially performing a hydrophilic treatment and a treatment with a liquid containing a rare-earth element ion on an aluminum plate after at least an anodizing treatment is performed thereon.

9. A presensitized plate according to claim 8, wherein the hydrophilic treatment is a treatment with an alkali metal silicate aqueous solution.

10. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate by performing a development using a developer containing substantially no alkali metal silicates after an exposure is performed on the presensitized plate according to claim 1 to obtain a lithographic printing plate.

11. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate by performing a development using a developer containing substantially no alkali metal silicates after an exposure is performed on the presensitized plate according to claim 2 to obtain a lithographic printing plate.

12. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate by performing a development using a developer containing substantially no alkali metal silicates after an exposure is performed on the presensitized plate according to claim 3 to obtain a lithographic printing plate.

16. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate by performing a development using a developer containing substantially no alkali metal silicates after an exposure is performed on the presensitized plate according to claim 7 to obtain a lithographic printing plate.

17. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate by performing a development using a developer containing substantially no alkali metal silicates after an exposure is performed on the presensitized plate according to claim 8 to obtain a lithographic printing plate.

18. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate by performing a development using a developer containing substantially no alkali metal silicates after an exposure is performed on the presensitized plate according to claim 9 to obtain a lithographic printing plate.

4. A presensitized plate provided with an image recording layer on a support for a lithographic printing plate,

wherein an adhering amount of a rare-earth element atom to a surface of the support is 0.1 to 20 mg/m², and

there is provided an intermediate layer containing a high-molecular compound having a constituent with an acid group and a constituent with an onium group between the support and the image recording layer.

5. The presensitized plate according to claim 4, wherein the support is obtainable by sequentially performing a hydrophilic treatment and a treatment with a liquid containing a rare-earth element ion on an aluminum plate after at least an anodizing treatment is performed thereon.

6. The presensitized plate according to claim 5, wherein the hydrophilic treatment is a treatment with an alkali metal silicate aqueous solution.

13. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate by performing a development using a developer containing substantially no alkali metal silicates after an exposure is performed on the presensitized plate according to claim 4 to obtain a lithographic printing plate.

14. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate by performing a development using a developer containing substantially no alkali metal silicates after an exposure is performed on the presensitized plate according to claim 5 to obtain a lithographic printing plate.

15. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate by performing a development using a developer containing substantially no alkali metal silicates after an exposure is performed on the presensitized plate according to claim 6 to obtain a lithographic printing plate.
