1. A tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) for a vehicle comprising a plurality of tires, the TPMS comprising:

  • a self-powered sensing module disposed in each tire to be deformed according to the rotation of the tire, comprising a sensor unit having at least one sensor for measuring at least one of a temperature, a pressure, and acceleration of the tires, a power unit generating a power by deforming mechanically according to the rotation of the tires and supplying the sensor with a power for actuation, and a transmitter unit transmitting data detected by the sensor; and

    a main unit disposed in the vehicle and comprising a receiver unit receiving the data transmitted from the transmitter unit and a monitoring unit displaying the received data to a vehicle operator;

    wherein the power unit comprises a piezoelectric power generator comprising a piezoelectric thin film; and

    wherein the piezoelectric thin film comprises a plurality of first and second piezoelectric elements disposed at certain intervals in alternation and polarized into an anode and a cathode.
