1. A multiband antenna comprising:

  • an RF feed;

    a ground plane;

    at least two resonators, the at least two resonators containing a first resonator and a second resonator that are driven directly by the RF feed and resonate in different frequency bands; and

    at least one parasitically coupled resonator that is connected to the ground plane, electromagnetically coupled to the first resonator and the second resonator, and resonates near the frequency band of the second resonator,wherein Q of the coupled resonator is substantially the same as Q of the second resonator, andwherein the coupled resonator and at least one of the first resonator and the second resonator are colinear.
