1. A computer implemented method of business location planning, comprising:

  • obtaining geo data representing the paths of travel traversed by a plurality of monitoring devices within a geographic region, at least a portion of the geo data derived from a satellite positioning system (“

    SPS”

    );

    selecting desired traffic characteristics for an optimal business location, the traffic characteristics including the volume of traffic passing the optimal business location;

    establishing traffic characteristics for a plurality of potential business locations based on said geo data, the traffic characteristics including the volume of traffic passing each of said plurality of potential business locations;

    comparing said established traffic characteristics to said desired traffic characteristics; and

    determining if at least one of said plurality of potential business locations has traffic characteristics that match said selected desired traffic characteristics.
